Class C is one of the four first-year classes at Advanced Nurturing High School. It initially ranks above Class D but below Classes A and B, holding 490 Class Points when Class D reaches zero. Its score later rises to 600 Class Points. 29 53

Kakeru Ryuen dominates Class C through a violent, coercive leadership style. His methods are described as crude but effective in maintaining the class's middle position. 91

Major Arcs

Ken Sudo Complaint

Three Class C basketball players—Daichi Ishizaki, Kyogo Komiya, and Suzune Kondo—file a complaint alleging that Ken Sudo assaulted them without provocation. Their injuries give their accusation institutional weight, while Sudo initially lacks supporting evidence. 58 59

Kushida later presents a video showing the Class C students cornering, insulting, shoving, and provoking Sudo before he retaliates. 65 Linmu privately informs Hiyori that Class D has obtained proof of Ryuen's plan and advises her to persuade Ryuen to drop the appeal. 67

The three Class C students eventually withdraw their complaint, allowing Class D's frozen points to be restored. 77

Uninhabited Island Special Exam

Class C establishes a luxurious beach camp and spends its exam resources on barbecue supplies, drinks, water activities, and leisure rather than survival efficiency. Ibuki claims Ryuen expels her from the group after she opposes this approach. 101 107

Class D shelters Ibuki, but Linmu suspects she is an infiltrator and hints to Ayanokoji that she is the “Werewolf” in their situation. 102 104 Ibuki is later exposed as a spy who steals Karuizawa's underwear and starts a fire in Class D's camp. 120 125

Class C ultimately abandons the island exam and returns to the cruise ship, while Ibuki remains on the island alone until its conclusion. 123

VIP Exam

During the Snake Group discussion, Class C is represented by Ishizaki, Komiya, Nishino, and Hiyori. The class initially approaches Linmu's divination claims cautiously, but Hiyori decisively agrees to let him test whether Class C contains the group's VIP. 134 137

Linmu correctly identifies Class C as having no Snake Group VIP. Through the same process, he narrows the VIP to Class D and proposes a low-risk Result 1 resolution, which Class C accepts on Ryuen's instruction. 137 146 147

Ryuen uses the Snake Group information, along with Kushida's secret cooperation, to analyze the VIP distribution and target Suzune Horikita. He views Linmu as either a potential asset to recruit or an obstacle to remove. 148
