Background / History

Qian Renxue was brought to the Far North by her grandfather when she was eight years old, where she saw Mu Qian from afar. From then on, Mu Qian’s name and accomplishments remained a constant point of comparison in her life; she regarded him as the person she could not accept losing to. Her grandfather also presented him to her as a figure tied to her lifelong faith and future destiny. 209

At the Grand Offering’s direction, Qian Renxue infiltrated the Heaven Dou Empire by killing and replacing the real Xue Qinghe. She maintained the Crown Prince’s identity for more than a decade, building her own hidden network and secret routes within the imperial palace.
