Background / History

Tang San is the son of Tang Hao, the Clear Sky Douluo, and Ah Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor. His initial Blue Silver Grass martial soul and Innate Full Soul Power concealed the significance of his bloodline; he later revealed a second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer. 54 73

As a Shrek Academy student, Tang San rose rapidly alongside the Shrek Seven Devils. By age fourteen, he had reached level 37, while his talent as a Twin Martial Soul possessor made him a target for recruitment and elimination by Spirit Hall alike. 55 56 57

After his defeat in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament, Tang Hao removed him from Shrek Academy. Tang San accepted the loss, resolved to cultivate under his father, and left to seek harsher training and greater strength. 73 74

Personality

Tang San is resolute under overwhelming pressure. Even after Qian Renxue became the Angel God and offered him a place in the Spirit Hall Empire, he refused to submit despite recognizing the difference in their strength. 181

His determination is closely tied to protecting those he loves. The deaths of Tang Hao and Ah Yin left him consumed by grief and vengeance, while Xiao Wu's sacrifices repeatedly became central to his choices and pursuit of divine power. 173 174 186

He can also be ruthless toward Spirit Hall. After returning from Sea God Island, he slaughtered the Soul Master regiments of six cities without remorse, treating them as enemies of the empire he opposed. 171
