The Thunder Ape and Cloudwing followed Wang Daoyuan back to the cave abode. Both were exceedingly curious when they saw Wang Mingchen.

Cloudwing shrank down to the size of a kitten, rolling about beside Wang Mingchen and acting cute as it begged for food.

The little fellow's mind was still too simple. He was no match for this fat cat that had lived for more than two hundred years.

Thinking only that it looked rather adorable, he took out some of his snacks and shared them with Cloudwing.

Children were generally interested in furry creatures. Finding Wang Mingchen a companion would not be a bad idea, but the Thunder Ape and Cloudwing were clearly unsuitable.

The Thunder Ape loved Spirit Wine and was also a battle maniac.

Once Wang Mingchen grew up, he would most likely become a drinker as well.

After all, both Wang Daoyuan and Zhou Luan could hold their liquor well, and Zhou Luan was even somewhat addicted to drink.

As for Cloudwing, there was even less need to mention it. It had already reached Mid-grade Third-order, yet it still lacked even a trace of the majesty of the king of beasts.

It was simply greedy and lazy, and now it was even swindling snacks from a child.
