Ning Chen caught the girl as she pounced on him and chuckled. "Careful, don't fall."
"Ning Chen, I'm back. Surprised?" Yin'er raised her little head and said happily.
"Heh."
Ning Chen smiled softly. "No surprise, but quite a scare. Why didn't you stay in Central Province with your sister Qing Ling for a few more years? What was the rush to come back?"
At those words, Yin'er pursed her little lips and huffed. "I'm unhappy now. I'm not talking to you."
Ning Chen raised a hand and tousled the girl's hair, smiling. "All right, you're a grown young lady now. Why are you still throwing tantrums like when you were little?"
Yin'er giggled, hugging his arm. "Ning Chen, your injuries are all right now, aren't they?"
"Mm, they're fine."
Ning Chen nodded. "How is your sister Wulei?"
"Sister Wulei's injuries have recovered. Recently, she's been trying to break through into the Reality Realm," Yin'er answered truthfully.
