Huangyan Battle Armor

"Do you understand?" Chaos City Lord stared into Qin Cang's eyes and asked.

Qin Cang knew this was the City Lord's final question and parting words.

"This disciple understands. When I go this time, I'll kill so many Aliens that they tremble with fear. Once I become an Immortal, or even a Venerable, I'll kill several Top Universe Overlords from the Alien Race. That's my promise." Qin Cang spoke firmly.

As a transmigrator, even though he hadn't read the original story, his experiences in his previous life alone had made one thing clear to him: "Those who aren't of our race will never share our hearts."

There was no right or wrong in the wars between races, only the helpless choices they made to survive and carry on. The wings, resting against the armor's back, seemed to burn with undying crimson-gold divine flames. The final piece, the pair of claws, radiated the aura of the Law of Fire. They were so sharp that even Qin Cang, with his current strength, could obliterate an Immortal God's Divine Body with a single strike.

"This treasure is called the Huangyan Battle Armor. It's a Top-Tier Heavy Treasure set made up of three parts: the Huangyan Armor, the Huangyan Divine Wings, and the Huangyan Claw. Combined, they become much more powerful, and they're extremely well suited to you right now.

"With this treasure, you'll be able to handle offense, escape, and defense alike. If the Huangyan Battle Armor appeared in a Universe Secret Region, it wouldn't be at all unusual for several Universe Venerables to die over it. So you must never reveal its value. Otherwise, powerful beings will disregard the rules and attack you.

"Of course, no one has seen this treasure before, so you don't need to worry that simply taking it out will expose its value. For now, you can use it freely. I'll give you a manual later, and you'll understand what it can do. As for how to draw out its full potential, that will be up to you." Chaos City Lord explained.

A Top-Tier Heavy Treasure set!

Qin Cang could hardly believe it. As expected of a Fifth-Order Universe Master and the Human Race's second most powerful figure at this stage—Chaos City Lord had given him a Top-Tier Heavy Treasure set outright!

The resources Qin Cang had used up so far were considerable, but their value was nowhere near that of the Huangyan Battle Armor. They weren't even a fraction of its worth.

Of course, the value of the Sky Canopy Python's blood and the Phantom Color Flowing Light Bead wasn't included in that comparison. After receiving the Huangyan Battle Armor, Qin Cang returned to his residence in Chaos City.

Following the instructions in the manual, Qin Cang successfully imprinted his spiritual mark onto the Huangyan Battle Armor. From then on, the Top-Tier Heavy Treasure belonged to him.

Both the Huangyan Armor and the Huangyan Divine Wings had two forms. In other words, even on their own, each of them was a Top-Tier Heavy Treasure.

The Huangyan Armor's first form could be activated at the World Lord Level, and Qin Cang was strong enough to control it already.

Once activated, it reduced physical damage to one percent. More importantly, it reduced Soul Attacks to one-tenth of their original strength!

Qin Cang figured that this ability to weaken Soul Attacks was the real reason the race had chosen to grant him this treasure. His greatest weakness at this stage was soul defense, and with the Huangyan Armor protecting him, along with his Marquis Level peak willpower, almost no one at the Immortal stage could enslave him instantly.

The only ones capable of instantly enslaving him on the entire Outer-Region Battlefield were probably the most powerful Soul Masters at the peak of King Level. He only had to avoid the areas where those beings were active.

Without General Armor to protect him, Qin Cang wasn't foolish enough to follow Luo Feng's example and challenge those peak King Level beings while only at the World Lord Level. Luo Feng could pull it off, but for practically any other World Lord, it would be tantamount to suicide—unless they were some kind of extraordinarily powerful Special Lifeform.

Of course, what surprised Qin Cang was that the Huangyan Battle Armor's defensive limit seemed too low.

Its first form could only withstand attacks below the Venerable Level. If an attack reached the Venerable Level, it would exceed the armor's defensive limit, and its ability to weaken the attack would drop sharply.

For a Top-Tier Heavy Treasure, even in its first form, shouldn't it be able to withstand attacks from Venerables?

The Huangyan Battle Armor's most important function wasn't defense, but disguise!
