Background

Qin Cang transmigrated into the Swallowed Star universe seven thousand years before the story’s opening, becoming a prince in a medium-sized universe kingdom and a member of the Yan God Clan. The clan possesses exceptional divine-body potential but is hindered by poor soul talent and temperament. Qin Cang differs from most Yan God Clan members through his abundant soul and exceptional aptitude for laws. 1

After only 300 years of cultivation, he won the Universe Peak Genius Battle and became the sixth disciple of Demon Wing Venerable, an ancient Universe Overlord. Under Demon Wing Venerable’s guidance, Qin Cang set a goal of clearing the Sky Mountain at every cultivation stage. 1

Following his advancement to Domain Lord, he served as supervisor of his birthplace, the Nine Yan Universe Kingdom. During that assignment, he executed or imprisoned more than ten thousand members of the royal family and clan, enforcing strict rules against their misconduct. 15 21

He is pragmatic and ruthless toward those outside his small circle of concern. His parents and Marquis Yanxing are exceptions; otherwise, he has shown little hesitation in punishing or killing members of his own clan. 15

Despite his confidence, Qin Cang accepts useful advice. He follows Blood Blade King’s recommendation to enter the Outer-Region Battlefield before exploring more dangerous universe secret regions, and he acknowledges Kailun’s superior ability in leadership and governance. 23 43
