Little Red was one of only two family members Liu Yun had. Although Liu Yun had only obtained her after killing her mother, he had planned everything out for her ever since she was born.

Mass-produced Cell Evolution Fluid helped her break through to the Lord stage, and later, she was given a share of cosmic materials. He had planned to slowly raise her into an obedient female lead, living a happy life together.

As she spoke, she took a check out of her pocket and handed it to Liu Yun, "This is compensation. Although it cannot make up for your loss, I hope you can accept it."

Looking at it now, Little Red had been sensible, but that sensibility had been her undoing. Liu Yun thought to himself that Little Red would have been better off slacking on the sidelines; at least that way, she could have kept her life.

Liu Yun did not take the check. His gaze remained fixed on Little Red, as if he wanted to engrave her image into his heart forever. After a long while, he spoke slowly, "Compensation? No, this is not what I want. What I want is justice for Little Red, and for those who harmed her to pay the price!"

Liu Yun shifted his gaze from Little Red's cold body to the riddled villa courtyard. Inside the courtyard, the meticulously pruned flowers and plants were now scattered and broken, and the embers of the fire still flickered weakly in various corners.

Yang Xiaolong, Ruby, Blacka, and Xueni stood not far away. Facing the fury and determination in Liu Yun's eyes, they involuntarily took a few steps back, complex expressions appearing on their faces.

"Liu Yun, calm down!" Yang Xiaolong spoke first, attempting to ease the tense atmosphere, "We... we didn't mean to kill Little Red, it was just..."
