History
Recruitment of Liu Yun
The Alliance announced its development of Cell Active Substance before Liu Yun joined 2. When his recovery and combat ability drew attention, its representatives investigated him and competed with other factions to recruit him. They were prepared to value his recruitment on the scale of a War God 7 8.
Glynda Goodwitch offered Liu Yun generous terms without requiring him to accept every mission. He chose the Alliance for that freedom, its overseas bases, and access to rare materials, then registered at its Yangzhou City base 11. Through its intranet, he bought Psychic Advanced Techniques and took missions to obtain resources 12. Glinda and Xu Yunguo later offered help finding teammates and materials while trying to draw him closer to the Alliance's core 22 24.
Investigation and Conflict
After Liu Yun left the team assembled for him, Glinda reported his unusual recovery and monster-taming ability to councilor Atkin. Atkin ordered an investigation focused on Liu Yun's crystal-ball pendant 31. Four of Liu Yun's former teammates later entered his villa and killed his battle pet, Little Red, deepening the conflict between him and the Alliance 35 36.
When Liu Yun announced plans to distribute Cell Evolution Fluid cheaply throughout Huaxia, Alliance leaders sought its formula and discussed controlling him; they were prepared to kill him if cooperation failed 54 55. Isadora, Atkin, and Yan Hai confronted him over the formula. Yan Hai was secretly loyal to Liu Yun, and Liu Yun's robots restrained Atkin and Isadora before Yan Hai knocked them unconscious 58.
The Alliance later returned to seeking cooperation. Following Liu Yun's return to Earth, Glinda arrived among the faction representatives welcoming him; she said the Alliance's chairman was willing to give him his position 84.
