Background / History

The original Liu Yun was a capable martial artist who suffered a spinal injury while resisting a beast tide. His treatment consumed his savings, his strength declined, and his girlfriend abandoned him; he ultimately attempted suicide. A transmigrator then occupied his body and inherited his memories and knowledge of the Swallowed Star world. 1

Soon afterward, a Mechanical Race life core formed a life-blood contract with Liu Yun and became his Mechanical Race Clone. The crystal-like core supplied immense knowledge and computing power, giving Liu Yun a means to rebuild his body, refine his training, and conceal his advantages. 1 2

Liu Yun recovered by combining Clone-assisted training with a traditional Chinese medicine formula. He returned to martial artist testing, surpassed War General requirements, humiliated Li Lei and his associates, awakened Psychic Power, and entered the Monster Town field assessment. 4 5 6 7
