History

Arrival and growth

A mysterious black-robed elder dispatched the beast’s patterned black egg to Earth as a greater trial after observing the planet’s rapidly increasing number of powerful beings. The egg fell into the Pacific Ocean ahead of schedule, where its shell proved completely unharmed by a powerful fish-type monster’s bite. 59

The beast hatched three thousand meters beneath the Pacific, displaying intelligence immediately. Rather than leaving at once, it swallowed every fragment of its eggshell and ascended directly to Stellar Level Rank Nine. Guided by a faint instinct to develop before attacking land, it began feeding on powerful undersea creatures. 59

It consumed the Pacific’s monster population until reaching the peak of the Stellar Level, then entered the Arctic Ocean and devoured a Frost Dragon. This caused its breakthrough to the Cosmic Level. 64 After later emptying the Atlantic Ocean, its hunger drove it to abandon its plan of consuming all marine life and target India Base instead. 67

War against humanity

The Golden Horned Beast destroyed India Base despite laser-cannon fire, fighter missiles, and evacuation attempts. Its scales suffered only shallow marks from the weapons, while its tail destroyed fighters and its appetite extended to people, animals, metal, and concrete. 68

Following the assault on India, it subdued monsters across Southeast Asia and formed an unprecedented monster army. It expanded its territory by destroying human defenses through raw force, magnetic-field control, and energy-wave manipulation, then turned its attention toward Huaxia. 73

At Jiangnan Base, it led a beast tide and breached the city walls after Hong, Thunder God, and the base’s laser batteries failed to harm it meaningfully. Liu Yun intervened aboard Excalibur Brave, becoming the first combatant to visibly damage its scales. 76 77

Capture and containment

Liu Yun lured the beast into space to prevent further devastation on Earth. Although Excalibur Brave was outclassed by the Golden Horned Beast’s third-stage Universe-Level strength, the Machine Race Clone’s hidden Virtual Materialization ability produced a virtual warship that subdued the beast with sustained high-energy fire and energy restraints. 77 81

The Golden Horned Beast was returned to Earth barely alive and bound by an energy beam. Liu Yun later ordered intelligent robots to analyze its genetic sequence and chose to obtain the origin of its power rather than possess its body. 80 96
