"Is this a God War?"

The Four Races watching from afar were all shaken by the battle between Kangqiao and the Giant Serpent.

That dazzling Radiant Heat Ray illuminated the entire night. Though it lasted only an instant, the massive explosion still set the whole region ablaze.

At the heart of the fire, earthshaking booms rang out without end, pounding against everyone's eardrums in the darkness.

At some unknown moment, an enormous creature suddenly raised its head from the Great River downstream.

This massive being had terrifying humanoid hands, while its head resembled that of a green-skinned Water Lizard.

Its upper body was somewhat humanoid as well, but a towering fin rose from its back.

It had no legs below its body, only a long, snake-like tail. Yet compared with a snake's, its tail was somewhat shorter in proportion.

Its entire body was emerald green, and its skin was covered in thick mucus.

This was a terrifying monster Kangqiao had never seen before, another aberrant Giant Beast.

The instant the Water Lizard Giant Beast emerged, it fixed its cold gaze on the distant sea of flames.

As it watched the two Giant Beasts entangled in battle amid the blaze, a humanlike look of contemplation appeared in the Water Lizard's eyes. Then it raised its head and looked toward the high night sky.

At that moment, the Water Lizard met the Giant Moth's gaze.

Wariness showed in both their eyes, yet neither Giant Beast left as they watched the distant battlefield.

It was as though both were waiting for the God War to end.

At the center of the battle, Kangqiao could not help but marvel.

This Giant Serpent really could take a beating!

The earlier Radiant Heat Ray had not been a fatal wound to the Giant Serpent at all.

At most, it had merely been caught off guard and burned painfully for a moment.

The dark-gold scales covering its entire body were harder than steel.

Yet they were not lacking in flexibility, either.

After Kangqiao grabbed the Giant Serpent and beat it up for a while, the Giant Serpent finally reacted.

It raised all its scales and broke free of his grasp before Kangqiao could react.

Then, furious and humiliated, the Giant Serpent twisted its head around and bit at Kangqiao's arm with its deadly fangs.

How could Kangqiao possibly let it succeed?

A guy who had been beaten senseless still wanted to resist?

Kangqiao laughed inwardly, then sent the Giant Serpent flying with a right hook.

But that was not the end of it. After smashing the Giant Serpent's head away, Kangqiao grabbed its tail and gave it a standing shoulder throw.

What was the best way to deal with snakes?

Other than striking seven inches below the head, it was to grab the snake by the tail and swing it hard enough to dislocate the chain of vertebrae running through its body.

Of course, that was merely how snake catchers dealt with snakes in reality. It might not cause such severe harm to the Giant Serpent.

But one thing was certain: as long as Kangqiao kept hold of the Giant Serpent's tail and slammed it back and forth with all his strength, the Giant Serpent would have no chance to fight back.

And the result was exactly as Kangqiao had expected.

Then the nature of the battle completely changed once more.

At the center of the sea of flames, the Giant Beast's short arms gripped the Giant Serpent's tail and swung it back and forth without pause. The Giant Serpent repeatedly smashed into the ground from left to right, creating thunderous booms.

The entire scene was rather comical, yet it left the Giant Moth in the sky and the Water Lizard downstream in the Great River utterly dumbfounded.

This battle was completely one-sided!

They were both Giant Beasts. Wasn't Kangqiao far too powerful and brutal?

To that, Kangqiao could only say: this was human wisdom!

From the perspective of intelligence, Kangqiao could utterly crush the creatures of this era.

Just like the Giant Serpent now. Though it would not die from being repeatedly smashed into the ground by Kangqiao, its head was buzzing.

Dizzy and disoriented, it could not focus at all, much less launch another counterattack.

And as Kangqiao dragged it by the tail and swung it around again and again, its whole body gradually went numb.

Its body no longer felt like its own, and it could barely even control it.

The entire battle was extraordinarily brutal.

Each time Kangqiao flung the Giant Serpent high into the air and smashed it down, large sections of earth and stone cracked apart.

Not a single patch of ground remained intact nearby. The entire area had become a jagged field of rubble.

The Giant Serpent's weight was terrifying as well. Kangqiao had to use tremendous force every time he swung it.

The ground beneath his feet had sunk dozens of meters, and as the Giant Serpent kept crashing down, the surrounding earth was pounded lower and lower.

"How is this possible?"

"The Poison Mist God has been defeated!"

"What should we do?"

The Serpent People, who could only watch the battle from afar, were completely stunned.

Some broke down emotionally, but some Serpent People with fanatical faith disregarded their own lives and charged toward the battlefield again and again.

They wanted to save their god.

But entering the battlefield was nothing more than courting death.

With their tiny bodies, many were blasted away by the violent air currents before they could even approach.

A few luckier Serpent People did manage to enter the battlefield, but they were soon crushed into pulp beneath their own god's body.

There was no longer any suspense in this battle.

"The great Father God truly is the strongest being in this world!"

"We won! Father God won!"

"The glory of Lava and Earth shall surely spread to every corner of this world!"

"Oooh!!!"

On the other side of the river, unlike the Serpent People, the Dinosaur People had already begun shouting with frenzied excitement.

Many Dinosaur People excitedly embraced one another, jumping and yelling as though they themselves had defeated the enemy's god.

The Dinosaur Elder stood where he was, seemingly showing no great excitement, yet his eyes were filled entirely with the majestic figure of his own Father God.

His gaze burned hot, and his soul was devout. It was faith carved deep into his bones.

He would remember Father God's majesty well. He would sing of Father God's greatness, ensuring that generation after generation, Father God would forever remain an inviolable god to his people.

On the battlefield, Kangqiao was not thinking as much as the spectators imagined.

He was exhausted now.

"Whew!"

At last, after swinging the Giant Serpent up and smashing it down more than a hundred times, he stopped.

The Giant Serpent lay on the ground as though it had fallen apart, taking in far more breath than it released.

"Is it dead?"

Kangqiao looked at the motionless Giant Serpent and slowly walked over to its head.

"Not bad. As expected of a Giant Beast from a supernatural world. Its vitality really is formidable."

The Giant Serpent was not dead. It seemed only to have been severely injured and knocked unconscious.

It had been smashed hundreds of times, and every blow was comparable to an enormous TNT explosion. Any other Giant Beast would have ended up the same way.

Though Kangqiao was tired, he felt exceptionally refreshed.

This was the first time Kangqiao had unleashed his physical strength without restraint in this world. It was like soaking in a hot spring after an intense workout, leaving both body and mind filled with comfort.

Looking at the devastation around him, then at the unconscious Giant Serpent, Kangqiao only needed a single thought to kill it.

Though the Giant Serpent's body was tough and flexible, if Kangqiao grabbed its mouth and tore it open to both sides with brute force, the outcome was obvious.

Likewise, if he fired a Radiant Heat Ray into its mouth, Kangqiao did not believe it could survive.

However, after pondering for a moment, Kangqiao did not choose to kill it. Instead, he stood to the side and suddenly turned his gaze toward the Great River and the two Giant Beasts in the sky.

The Three Beasts stared at one another, adding an unpredictable new variable to what would happen next.
