Kangqiao begins as a lizard-like creature with memories and rationality from a prior human existence. He survives alone on a volcanic island, discovers that magma accelerates his growth, and learns to hunt and cook seafood; food remains one of his strongest personal interests. 2

After awakening in a Godzilla-like form, Kangqiao becomes the object of the Dinosaur People’s worship. Though he does not initially consider himself a god, their faith and his growing power draw him into the role of protector and Father God. 7 34

He deliberately builds a city to unite four tribes, using shared food, trade, and coexistence to replace primitive isolation with mutual dependence.
