Fang Bie discovered the two of them just as he had set down his water bucket and was preparing to go fetch another.
He vaguely saw two figures standing next to his house. Naturally, he didn't think they were people; his subconscious reaction was that they were two zombies, so he hurriedly grabbed his sword and rushed over from a distance.
However, when he arrived at the side of the house, he realized these were two people he seemed to have some impression of. The person on the left was holding something resembling a firearm, which made him afraid to approach too easily.
Fang Bie immediately pulled out two blocks and stacked them in front of him. He specifically chose two stone blocks, as they would be better at blocking any bullets.
The reason these two left such a deep impression on him was mainly because the one on the left had a head as shiny as a lightbulb. Furthermore, although the person on the right looked rather disheveled, that face—Robert Downey Jr.'s face—was a household name even in China.
"Hallow!..." Fang Bie heard a voice from the other side, but other than the first word, he couldn't understand the rest.
As for him, he was a 996 corporate slave who had survived the CET-4 and CET-6 exams and spent several years grinding in society, but he had long since returned his English knowledge to his teachers. How could he possibly have a pleasant conversation with them?
However, putting the two images together immediately cleared up his previously fuzzy memory. If these weren't actually Robert Downey Jr. and the actor who played Yinsen, then the two who had arrived in his world were likely Tony Stark and Dr. Yinsen from Iron Man 1.
He immediately spoke up, "Hallow! Can you speak Chinese?"
Fang Bie didn't lower his guard just because they were familiar faces; he didn't want to get shot in the head the moment he poked his head out. However, in this brief moment, he had figured out the situation these two were in.
In fact, he didn't need to think too hard. The only time period where these two could appear together was the beginning of Iron Man 1—the time they spent living in that cave.
Anyone who has seen the movie knows that when Tony Stark was attacked by missiles of his own design and captured by the group calling themselves the Freedom Resistance Army, it was precisely when he was building the first Iron Man armor of his life alongside Dr. Yinsen.
While Fang Bie was still struggling to recall the plot in his mind, the two people standing by the stone doorway heard his voice.
Because Tony Stark had been attacked earlier and his body hadn't fully recovered, he couldn't easily hear what was being said on the other side, so he turned his head to ask the person beside him.
"What is he saying?"
Yinsen rubbed his bald head but didn't put down the gun in his hand. "He said, can you speak Chinese?"
"I can. Can you tell us where this is?" Tony Stark immediately spoke in Chinese. As a top-tier superhero with an IQ of 7, his learning ability was naturally peerless; Chinese was already one of the languages he had been required to learn.
"Put down the gun in your hand first and throw it down the mountain!" Fang Bie added, "This is My World, and I don't want you to cause any damage to it!"
"What should we do? Should we throw it?" Yinsen gripped the firearm tighter and asked.
Tony Stark scratched the Arc Reactor on his chest; the new granulation tissue always made his chest feel incredibly itchy. "Throw it! He's only one person; could the situation be any worse than it was outside? We don't know anything about this world. Now that we've lost our way back, we have no choice but to talk to him!"
"Alright! We're throwing it!" Yinsen said. As he spoke, he used all his strength to toss the firearm down the mountain.
Only then did Fang Bie slowly emerge from behind the stone blocks. He still held a stone block in his hand, ready to place it in front of him at the fastest speed possible. At the very least, he was confident he could establish a defensive line around himself the moment a gunshot rang out.
"Good! Stay where you are and don't move until I come over!" Fang Bie walked toward the two men cautiously. Seeing his wary behavior, the two knew they hadn't gained his trust.
"Fine!" Tony Stark seemed a bit annoyed by this three-way standoff. He suddenly raised his hands and slowly placed them on his head.
Fang Bie felt a jolt in his heart, and two stone blocks immediately appeared in front of him. However, seeing the other man's subsequent actions, he couldn't help but blush.
Yinsen also noticed his teammate's move and hurriedly followed suit. They had done this countless times in that cave; after all, to save their lives, they couldn't offend the local master.
Fang Bie finally let out a small sigh of relief, though he still didn't lower his defenses. It wasn't until he reached them and saw that both men were empty-handed that he finally relaxed.
Although two against one was an advantage, he could instantly pull a sword from his inventory, so he didn't consider it a disadvantage at all.
Seeing Fang Bie approach, the two kept their hands on their heads. Even in this meeting, the famous playboy didn't show his usual arrogant and domineering nature.
Fang Bie organized his thoughts and asked, "Who are you? Why did you come here?"
But Tony Stark didn't seem prepared to answer his question, instead asking, "We listened to you and threw away our weapons. Shouldn't you answer our questions first?"
His eye for people was truly sharp; he could see a trace of kindness in Fang Bie's eyes, unlike the naked greed and murderous intent of the bandits from before.
"Fine." Fang Bie nodded. He didn't really care about that; he could already feel a strange power appearing around him, as if he could expel these two from this world whenever he wanted.
"This is My World." Fang Bie said with a double meaning, "Welcome to My World."
"Your world?" The two looked at him with some surprise.
"Yeah! You came out of this portal; haven't you felt it yet?" Fang Bie knew that his previous display of extreme caution had caused them to misjudge him, but he still needed to reinforce his status in this world.
"So this is a portal. Is this the legendary magic?" Tony turned back to touch the stone doorway behind him, asking with curiosity.
"I've answered your question; now it's your turn to answer mine." Fang Bie smiled, "Since you've shown goodwill, I won't do anything bad to you. Let's go inside and talk."
"Alright!" The two exchanged a glance, and ultimately, with Tony Stark leading the way, he followed Fang Bie into the small wooden house nearby.
