History
About a thousand years before the main events, Xiao Xuan led the Xiao Tribe when its Dou Emperor Bloodline was nearing exhaustion. He concentrated the tribe’s bloodline within himself in an attempt to become a Dou Emperor and restore it. The attempt failed, leaving him severely wounded. Soul Heaven Emperor then led the Soul Clan in an attack that killed nearly all the Xiao Tribe’s experts; Xiao Xuan detonated the three Heavenly Flames within his body, grievously wounding the attackers 7 391.
His remnant soul remained in a Tomb Mansion within the Heavenly Tomb. When Xiao Jin, Xiao Yan, and Xun Er found him, Xiao Xuan recognized Xiao Yan as a descendant and learned how far the tribe had declined. He had preserved its last bloodline power for a descendant, but Xiao Jin and Xiao Yan pressed him to consider resurrection rather than sacrifice his remaining chance to guard the clan 497 498 499.
