History
Founding in the Undersea Demon Cultivator World
Yun Ce founded Star Pavilion while reorganizing the remnants of the Nine Sha Hall. He rejected the former name for its malicious connotations and proposed “Star Pavilion,” a name Qin Yu associated with the vastness of his Stellar Transformations cultivation art. The newly named force absorbed the Crimson Blood Cave Mansion, Azure Dragon Palace, Clear Water Mansion, and the Nine Sha Hall’s remaining resources under its jurisdiction. 64
The former Crimson Blood Cave Mansion was renovated into Star Pavilion’s base. Yun Ce initially planned an official opening three years after the reorganization, tasking Azure Dragon and the Three-Eyed Old Demon with inviting qualified cultivators from both the undersea and land-based cultivation worlds. 64
By its opening ceremony, Star Pavilion had established itself as a rising power in the overseas cultivation world. Yun Ce served as Pavilion Master, while Qin Yu became Young Pavilion Master; Hou Fei and Black Feather assisted with pavilion affairs. Azure Dragon Palace and Clear Water Mansion remained publicly independent, but were secretly subordinate forces under Yun Ce’s command. 74
Azure Dragon later publicly announced Azure Dragon Palace’s submission during the expedition to the Nine Swords Immortal Mansion. Together with Clear Water Mansion’s allegiance, this gave Star Pavilion decisive influence among the participating factions. 90
Consolidation and Defense
Star Pavilion became the hegemon of the undersea demon cultivator world, controlling numerous cave mansions and hundreds of millions of miles of sea territory. Clear Water Mansion and Azure Dragon Palace served as its two crucial subordinate strongholds. 112
After the Three-Eyed Old Demon’s death, Yun Ce appointed Yan Rui to stabilize Clear Water Mansion. He also sent Red Phoenix to take control of the leaderless Azure Dragon Palace, suppressing Yan Lang’s loyalists and preventing rebellion. 112
When Loose Demons targeted the Heaven-Breaking Map, Yun Ce and Qin Yu returned to Star Pavilion rather than continuing toward the Qin Dynasty. Yun Ce prepared the Sword Immortal Puppet while Qin Yu activated the Heavenly Star Formation for the pavilion’s defense. 122 123
Divine Realm Re-establishment
After reaching the Divine Realm, Qin Yu proposed establishing Star Pavilion there. Yun Ce advised discretion and began making preliminary arrangements while Qin Yu, Hou Fei, and Black Feather cultivated and studied. 285
Yun Ce chose the lawless Mist Fog Swamp as Star Pavilion’s true Divine Realm foundation. He claimed a hundred-thousand-kilometer region, began constructing a grand city array, and envisioned the site as the future Mist Fog City. 287
The organization’s initial Divine Realm framework included the War Hall, Alchemy and Artifact Hall, Heavenly Secrets Hall, and Internal Affairs Hall. Following Yun Ce’s defeat of Blackwater Old Demon, Blackwater Palace was abolished and reorganized as Star Pavilion’s Blackwater Hall. 288 292
Over ten thousand years, Star Pavilion annexed Blackwater Palace, expanded its directly controlled territory nearly one hundredfold, and became the undisputed hegemon of the outer Mist Fog Swamp. Its influence subsequently spread into the central swamp. 294
Rise as a Divine Realm Power
Qin Yu was formally recognized as Star Pavilion’s Young Lord in Mist Fog City. During the following thousand years, he learned its affairs, defended a divine stone mine from the Blood Crocodile Gang, and earned the respect of the pavilion’s members as a capable leader. 311
Upon Qin Yu’s return from the Heavenly Ruins Ancient Domain, Yun Ce introduced him to Star Pavilion’s upper echelon and declared that Qin Yu’s orders carried the same authority as his own. 329
Under Yun Ce and Qin Yu, the pavilion streamlined its administration, enforced clear rewards and punishments, improved resource allocation, and maintained a cautious but firm policy toward neighboring powers. 330
Star Pavilion publicly demonstrated its strength at the Drifting Snow City marriage-selection gathering, arriving with six Divine Kings and one hundred elite High-level Heavenly Deities. Its display transformed outside perceptions of the faction from a regional swamp power into a force comparable to the direct troops of weaker Sacred Emperor clans. 335 337
Headquarters and Facilities
Undersea Star Pavilion
- The original headquarters occupied the former Crimson Blood Cave Mansion, later within the renamed Star Territory. 64 74
- Its main structure was built from Divine Realm Star Marrow Stone, giving it a permanent starlit glow even in the deep sea. 71 132
- The main hall stood one thousand feet tall and contained nine levels. Its first floor served as a council hall, while the ninth housed the Pavilion Master’s residence and the site’s densest spiritual energy. 71
- Seventy-two auxiliary pavilions served as treasuries, cultivation rooms, and star-gazing platforms for formation deduction. White-jade corridors contained Star Crystals, while spirit springs bred Star Marrow Fish that nourished the soul. 71
- The Sun and Moon Hall served as the principal banquet hall and was distinguished by a ceiling inlaid with star crystals. 74
Formations
- Minor Heavenly Star Formation — The first defensive foundation installed after the Crimson Blood Cave Mansion’s renovation. It could repel invaders while gathering ambient spiritual energy for disciples’ cultivation. 68
- Heavenly Star Formation — A more advanced mountain-protecting formation that drew on oceanic spiritual energy and starlight to form a powerful defensive curtain around the pavilion. 122 123
- Three-layer restrictions — The integrated defensive system included an illusion array, killing array, and trapping array. The pavilion itself functioned as part of the formation, with its structures nourished and reinforced by circulating stellar power. 71
Mist Fog City
Mist Fog City became Star Pavilion’s Divine Realm headquarters. Its walls, more than one thousand zhang high, were inscribed with array runes and star phantoms; the central Star Tower rose through the perpetual mist. 329
The city’s pale-gray mist contained divine spiritual energy and traces of the Mist Fog Swamp’s essence. It concealed the city from outside observation while nourishing its inhabitants. 311
