The Snake People Tribe rules the Tagor Desert and has fought humans—particularly the Jia Ma Empire—for generations. Their harsh desert environment and worsening living conditions drive their repeated efforts to seize human territory 224 353 364.

The tribe's origins are linked to an ancient Central Plains clan, but its bloodline and inheritance allegedly weakened through generations of intermarriage. This history is known only to Queen Medusa and a small number of elders 363.

Queen Medusa's goal is to lead her people out of the Tagor Desert. Believing that only a major increase in her own strength could alter the tribe's position, she risks evolution to the Dou Zong realm 109 364.
