"Cough, cough, you knew you... ah, no, unleashed eleven moves?"
Rimewind cleared his throat twice and said in a deliberately grave tone:
"Fine, fine. You've got some skill, at least."
"Looks like that dead fat octopus doesn't choose people entirely based on her preferences."
"You, the new overlord—I fucking acknowledge you."
"But don't get happy too soon!"
"My acknowledgment doesn't mean the overlords of the other Domains will acknowledge you."
"Before that dead fat octopus comes back, you'd better watch yourself. Don't get too fucking cocky!"
Though his foul language was grating, it felt oddly heartwarming.
Lu Li agreed with that and nodded.
It was only after they added each other as friends on the Data Panel that Rimewind learned that the young man before him—who had never removed his Mask and had whipped him around like a spinning top—was named Lu Li.
"For that dead fat octopus to hand the overlord position to him, it wasn't just because of his overwhelming strength, was it?"
"This person most likely has something to do with the permanently 'sealed' Demon Domain!"
Rimewind muttered silently to himself, impatience appearing on his face.
He waved at Lu Li and spoke in a far from friendly tone:
"Alright, your business is settled for now. There's still a ton of bullshit to deal with in the Palu Star Belt."
"Contact me if you run into trouble you can't handle. Don't message me for no reason otherwise."
"Alright, there's nothing left for you to do here. Hurry back to your Neptune Domain."
Lu Li did not care in the slightest about Rimewind's terrible attitude.
He was eager to leave as soon as possible.
"But there's still a restriction in place right now. I can't teleport out," Lu Li shrugged, reminding him in a not particularly subtle manner.
