Jiang Chen paused and turned his head to look.

At the table by the stairway, three older boys in academy uniforms were staring at them with ill intent.

More precisely, they were staring at Xiao Wu behind him.

Before Jiang Chen could speak, Xiao Wu stepped forward and snapped back, "Is the second floor named after you? You sure are nosy!"

"If you've got the guts, chase us out! See if Sister Xiao Wu doesn't break your legs!"

The Tall Boy turned and spotted Xiao Huohuo. He immediately put on a fawning smile and stepped aside. "These new Work-Study Students don't know the rules. We were just teaching them a lesson for you!"

Xiao Huohuo raised an eyebrow.

He had been worrying about where to vent his frustration, only for punching bags to come knocking so soon.

But when he saw the familiar face behind them, his entire body stiffened as though he had been frozen in place.

"You two lowly Work-Study Students, Boss Xiao Huohuo will teach you how to behave when you see your seniors today!"

The Tall Boy failed to notice Xiao Huohuo's pale face and continued threatening Jiang Chen and Xiao Wu.

"Oh?" Jiang Chen grinned. "Then I'd like to see how Senior plans to teach us."

"You still dare laugh?! I'll fucking make you—"

Before the Tall Boy could finish, someone suddenly kicked him from behind.

He staggered from the blow and was about to curse when he turned around and met Xiao Huohuo's deathly pale face. He was instantly dumbfounded.

"Master really is generous!"

Jiang Chen finished the chicken leg in a few bites, wiped his hands, and turned to Xiao Wu, who was still ordering. "Order two more roasted chickens and three bowls of meat soup."

"That much?" Xiao Wu felt a little embarrassed.

"There's Tang San too."
