Jiang Chen was the first to jump onto the Dragon Abyss Boat. He patted the gunwale. "Everyone aboard. Let's go see Sea God Island."
The others quickly jumped onto the small boat. Though the Dragon Abyss Boat was not large, it had more than enough room for a dozen people.
"Set off!"
Jiang Chen activated his Soul Power, and a jet of water burst from the Dragon Abyss Boat's stern. It shot through the waves like an arrow, speeding toward Sea God Island.
The little boat cut across the sea, spraying white foam as the ocean wind rushed into their faces, carrying a salty, fishy scent.
"We're almost there, almost there!"
Xiao Wu stood at the bow, her rabbit ears blown flat behind her by the wind. She pointed excitedly ahead. "I can see the buildings on the island!"
"What's that?"
Zhu Zhuqing suddenly narrowed her eyes, locking her gaze beneath the water.
"What?" Ning Rongrong moved closer.
"There's something under the water."
The moment she spoke.
The sea suddenly began to churn violently.
"Splash—!"
A massive white figure burst from beneath the waves, raising towering swells that crashed viciously toward the Dragon Abyss Boat.
"Watch out!"
Tang San could only instinctively grab the side of the boat.
Jiang Chen pushed off with his feet, and the Dragon Abyss Boat suddenly swerved sideways, barely evading the enormous wave.
"What the hell was that?!"
Oscar was thrown from side to side, clinging desperately to the edge of the boat with a pale face.
"Demon Soul Great White Sharks!"
Qian Renxue stood at the stern, her golden eyes fixed on the sea, her tone grave. "And there's more than one."
Wherever she looked, sharp dorsal fins emerged from the water.
One, two, three...
There were countless of them—at least twenty or thirty.
