With the Tree God's current weakened power, once its divine spark was damaged, it would likely need to slumber for tens of thousands of years before it could possibly awaken.
And given the scarcity of special energy in this world, it might even remain asleep forever.
There were only two options now.
One was for the Tree God to join the Aberration Association. Shen Yu could help it become a Contract Anomalist, allowing it to contract Weirds and wield Weird energy.
After becoming a Contract Anomalist, its resistance to Weird energy would increase greatly. Once it became proficient in controlling Weird energy, it could even use that energy itself to gradually wear away the trace of Weird energy and contamination within its divine spark.
This would protect its divine spark from harm to the greatest extent possible.
The second option was to wait until it was completely contaminated into a Weird, then have Shen Yu immediately contain it.
That way, perhaps it could still recover some of its consciousness?
However, Shen Yu would only use the second method if the Tree God had already fallen unconscious and was unable to respond to him.

He roughly conveyed that he had a way to save it.
But it needed to join the Aberration Association.
The Tree God barely hesitated before responding to Shen Yu in a broken, intermittent manner.
