The Chaos City Lord personally inspects every new group entering Chaos City, both to identify infiltrators and to assess potential Human Race talents. During Qian Yu's intake, he examined all seventy-two entrants before detecting Qian Yu's abnormal three-hundredfold human gene level and his Wild Beast Clone's five-thousand-five-hundredfold gene level. 35

Rather than coveting Qian Yu's clone, he investigated Qian Yu's past and concluded that the former slave was a rare hope for humanity. He chose not to pry into the clone's origin, prioritizing Qian Yu's human soul, loyalty, and future potential. 36

Accepting Qian Yu

After observing Qian Yu rise from the Tenth to the Fifteenth Heavenly Bridge floor in roughly one hundred years, the Chaos City Lord judged his talent, opportunities, and temperament sufficient to become a personal disciple. Qian Yu accepted immediately, becoming his thirty-second personal disciple. 42

At the time, twenty-seven of the Chaos City Lord's thirty-two disciples remained alive: twenty-five Universe Venerables, one Peak King-Level Immortal God, and Qian Yu.
