Background

Enslavement and Escape

Qian Yu transmigrated into the world as a slave and spent centuries under the control of a Slave Chip implanted in his brain. Forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas, he survived by killing other slaves and cultivating between duels. His room became filled with the heads and bones of former opponents. 1

His turning point came from an Azure Giant Egg within his Inner World. The egg hatched into the Primordial Dao Tree, a soul-linked avatar that gave him extraordinary insight into cultivation and offered a means to escape the Slave Chip’s control. 1 2

After reaching the Cosmic Level, Qian Yu used the avatar’s regenerative connection to survive the destruction of his own head and remove the Slave Chip’s control. He then massacred the slave camp’s guards, seized Setas’s spacecraft, forced Setas to transfer ownership, and killed him before fleeing Red Cloud Star. 4 36

Rise Beyond Slavery

Qian Yu used the wealth and equipment taken from Setas to establish himself as an independent cultivator. He sold the slave master’s resources, acquired a new ship and supplies, moved through the Dark Universe to conceal his trail, and selected isolated worlds for prolonged seclusion. 5

The Fire Phoenix Organization’s pursuit transformed into a campaign of retaliation. Qian Yu destroyed dozens of its strongholds, accumulated wealth from bounty hunters and raiders, and eventually killed its leader, Pan Xi. 14 18 26

Although Pan Xi’s death crippled the organization, it continued operating under the protection of the Seventh Prince of Ganwu Universe Country. Qian Yu later purged 173 Fire Phoenix bases, killed more than 3.276 million members, rescued roughly 89 million slaves, and eliminated its directors and regional heads while avoiding indiscriminate casualties among enslaved civilians. 81 82

Personality

Qian Yu is patient, calculating, and difficult to intimidate. Centuries of slavery taught him to cultivate quietly, assess threats carefully, and act only when he possesses a viable route to victory or escape. 1 5 8

He is ruthless toward enemies connected to slavery, betrayal, or pursuit. Setas was executed despite complying with Qian Yu’s demand for his spacecraft, and Qian Yu refused mercy to enemies he considered useless or dangerous. 4 17

Despite this brutality, Qian Yu distinguishes between perpetrators and victims. During the destruction of the Fire Phoenix Organization, he specifically ordered Yu Ming’s army to preserve enslaved civilians and relocate them safely rather than destroy slave-holding planets outright. 82

As his strength grows, he becomes increasingly composed and magnanimous toward those acting in good faith. He accepted Seven Swords King’s apology after being tested, remained respectful toward his teachers, and invests heavily in Luo Feng’s development. 108 122 155
