If the user's Psychic Amplification was high enough, the thorns could also be condensed into one, greatly increasing the power of the soul attack.
Mind Confusion was a basic illusion technique that could trap an opponent in a brief hallucination. Illusions were an extremely terrifying way to attack. Once someone fell into one, all their defenses would instantly become useless.
For instance, a powerhouse who was using all his strength to drive his weapon and fend off an enemy's attack would become foolish the moment he fell into an illusion.
