"Hey, you little pervert, haven't you hugged enough yet?" Anko tried to struggle out of Jimo's arms.
"Don't mess around, alright? The flying technique takes a lot of focus! If we fall from up there, I won't mind with you as my cushion," Jimo bluffed, putting on a serious face.
On the ground, Orochimaru looked up at the sky, searching for a long time but finding no trace of whoever had attacked him.
Jimo had long since steered the Flying Nimbus into the clouds.
"What kind of technique is this... how does it fly?" Anko clung to Xiao Jue like a sloth, curiously poking the Flying Nimbus with her finger. It was soft and fluffy—she wondered if it tasted good.
"Don't get any ideas about my Flying Nimbus..." Jimo quickly said when he saw the drool at the corner of her mouth.
Only after he could no longer sense Orochimaru's presence did he bring Anko down from the sky.
Bang!
A lump swelled up on Jimo's head, smoking with pain.
"I just saved you, you know!"
"That's punishment for copping a feel up in the sky."
Before either of them could react, a giant serpent swallowed them both whole.
"Interesting fellow... I don't know how he managed to jump down from the sky, but it's worth looking into," Orochimaru said from afar, sensing that his summon beast had devoured them.
"Teacher, you... don't move around, alright..." The two were swallowed into the snake's belly in a terribly awkward position. Jimo's height put him right at Anko's chest.
"You little pervert, I'm going to kill you when we get out!" Anko furiously stabbed at the giant snake's stomach with a kunai, but it was like hitting old rubber—utterly useless.
And Jimo's position was far too awkward. She could feel the warmth of him pressed against her chest, and every now and then, she sensed his breath landing on her bosom.
"Forget about killing me when we get out... if you keep moving around like that, we'll both end up as snake dung!"
Jimo finally freed one hand and wrapped it around Anko.
"Kill me if you want when we're out, but I'd rather die by your hand than be digested like a lab rat by snake stomach acid! Becoming a pile of crap is way too degrading!"
With his other hand, he gathered a Chakra Jade and detonated it inside the snake's belly.
A loud boom split the giant serpent's body in half. Shreds of flesh splattered everywhere.
Two figures slammed hard into a tree.
"You little brat, pretty capable..." Anko panted heavily, wiping off the digestive fluids that had corroded her favorite clothes.
"Hey! Kid?"
When Anko noticed Jimo wasn't responding, she hurried over to check. Fortunately, his breathing was steady—he'd just been knocked out by the blast.
"Kids are such a hassle... I guess I'll reluctantly look after you!"
She realized this was the first time she'd ever been held by a man, even if he was only fourteen...
Thinking about that, Anko Mitarashi, known for her wild and reckless ways, blushed.
Nightfall
Jimo finally woke up...
"That was close, so close to dying."
He found himself inside a tree hollow, with a campfire that seemed to have just gone out. Exhausted from the battle, Anko was fast asleep nearby.
Though she'd covered herself with her badly corroded clothes, it didn't stop Jimo from catching a glimpse of some exposed skin.
Silently, Jimo took off his shirt and crept closer to the sleeping Anko.
"You're lucky you ran into me..."
Not long after, Anko woke up to find Jimo gone, with a relatively intact shirt draped over her.
"Hey, finally awake!" A shout came as Jimo's tired figure slowly appeared at the entrance of the tree hollow.
His usually bright and spirited eyes were now ringed with dark circles, making it obvious he hadn't slept all night.
"Heh, you're lucky—just woke up and there's food..." Jimo carefully walked over, holding a rat he'd skillfully roasted.
This rat had grown up in the Forest of Death. Thanks to the unique environment and minimal human activity, these rats were much cleaner than the ones commonly found in the village.
Not only that, but to make the roasted rat more delicious, Jimo had gone out of his way to find some herbs to enhance the flavor. He'd also prepared a bit of salt in advance. After careful seasoning, the roasted rat was a feast for the senses.
"You've got the makings of a logistics ninja!"
Anko sat by the campfire with her knees hugged to her chest, while Jimo arranged leaves above the fire to disperse the smoke and avoid detection by enemies.
"That guy... no wonder he's one of the Three Sannin... truly terrifying." Jimo stretched out and lay down to rest with his eyes closed.
Senzu beans? A weakened version could heal physical injuries, but not mental fatigue.
After a brief rest, Jimo put out the fire.
He turned to Anko behind him and said, "Alright, Teacher Anko, let's get moving. I'll make sure you're safely out of this area first, then I need to hurry and find my teammates. Leaving a dangerous guy like that roaming the forest isn't a smart move."
Hearing this, Anko couldn't help but smile. She gave Jimo a teasing glance and said softly, "You little pervert, you're young but you talk like an old man." With that, she stepped forward to follow Jimo.
"Don't call me a little pervert!"
"Then who was it staring at my chest all day yesterday?"
In the battle against harassment, Anko had won a round.
Jimo quickly flew Anko out of the venue on the Flying Nimbus.
"Anko, what's this?" Genma Shiranui asked, looking at her tattered coat.
"Go report to the Third Hokage immediately—Orochimaru is back!"
"That brat..."
"He's continuing the exam and has Anbu agents infiltrating to protect the candidates... We have no idea how many enemy agents have slipped in this time!"
Jimo bid Anko farewell and flew back to the Forest of Death on the Flying Nimbus.
"Hey, Anko."
"Huh?" (☉_☉)
"I just wanted to ask... how does it feel to be carried through the sky in someone's arms?" ?>?o? .?.?
"You wanna die?!" (ノ=Д=)ノ┻━┻
Anko watched Jimo fly off into the distance, muttering under her breath.
"Not bad, actually!"
Jimo strained to amplify his sensory ability from the sky, but still couldn't pinpoint where Sakura and Naruto were among the countless chakra signatures.
"Boom!"
A sound in the distance caught his attention.
The familiar Bushy Brow lay collapsed on the ground, while Dosu and Zaku had already surrounded Sakura and the others.
A long-haired kunoichi was grabbing Sakura by the hair and pressing her to the ground.
"Damn it!"
Jimo's aura surged as he charged toward the spot on the Flying Nimbus.
