They had won.

After battle upon battle, twist after twist, waves rising and falling, the curtain had finally come down.

Yet the jianghu folk upon the Heaven Worship Platform suddenly erupted in jubilant cheers, shouting to one another as they celebrated the great victory.

Chen Zhi'ang spoke up:

"It is time for us to wrap things up."

Shen Yi nodded slightly.

The great battle was over.

But the many jianghu people on the Heaven Worship Platform still needed to be settled, and the meaning of the Gathering of Celestial Beings extended beyond merely those celestial beings who had died here and those who had survived.

Rules also had to be laid down for the many more celestial beings who had emerged from the grotto-heavens yet chosen to lurk in the shadows.

The group descended from the sky back onto the Heaven Worship Platform. Chen Zhi'ang stepped onto the stage and proclaimed, "At the Gathering of Celestial Beings, Hero Shen overwhelmed all challengers."

Above and below the stage, everyone fell silent. No one objected.
