Background / History
Fū stands beside Shibuki after the death of Takigakure’s leader. She comforts him, warns that his teacher Suiyan will betray the village, and runs with him toward the fighting when the God Shinobi attack 221. She confronts Feng during the battle for Takigakure, declaring that she will not back down 222.
After Takigakure’s defeat, Fū rejects being called a God Shinobi. She tells Feng that she will remain a Takigakure shinobi even if the village is gone 224. She later travels with him as his disciple, still intending to defeat him and restore Takigakure’s name; Feng says he will honor that promise if she succeeds 227 228.
Fū accompanies Feng to Otogakure, where Orochimaru notices her unusual chakra and suspects that she is a jinchūriki 228 229. Later, she leads God Shinobi contestants into the joint Chūnin Exams. In the preliminaries, she is matched against Konoha’s Shino Aburame 258 263.
