Illumi and his companions entered the Earth Secret Realm for the King of Fighters Tournament as Lucky and the Conrad Family responded to a Blood-Sucking Worm outbreak in Lade Cape. The worm’s offspring spread through the Basen Rainforest, where Illumi’s group encountered a mysterious figure in the mist.

• Illumi and Baal’s team befriended the Minotaurs in a Secret Realm, then left with a black stone from their leader and learned that one teammate had awakened Nen.
• Illumi registered with the Adventurer Guild, joined forces with Chris, and became trapped with other Adventurers in a Keli City Secret Realm until they held its fighting tournament and received reward tickets.
• Baal’s team and Ging explored the Shadow Tower, while Ging and Lucky agreed to make Greed Island qualifications available as maze rewards.
• Beyond returned from the Dark Continent with an herb and news of an ancient city, while infected animals and a presumed-dead companion developed signs of Nen in Lade Cape.
• Illumi, Chris, and Shermie joined the King of Fighters Tournament in the Earth Secret Realm, where they saw Pachi Tribe members building a city with Earth Elementals.
• Lucky and the Conrad Family mobilized to contain Blood-Sucking Worms in Lade Cape, while Alvin’s ability tracked worms beyond the city and Lucky sealed the Basen Rainforest.
• Morgan’s worm spread offspring through the Basen Rainforest in search of the Divine Tree, as Illumi’s group explored the Earth Secret Realm and noticed a figure emerging from the mist.

Chris awakened his power and defeated Morgan as Lucky dealt with the escaped Blood-Sucking Worms and Beyond’s arrest. In 1993, Killua arrived in Keli City and became entangled in Lucky’s Holy Grail War, which left him learning Nen while the Masters prepared to fight.

• Chris awakened his purple flames, burned away Morgan’s webs, and killed him after the Blood-Sucking Worm weakened.
• Lucky captured the Blood-Sucking Worm and used Soul Search to learn that it was a failed Plant Weapon, while Beyond was arrested and their cooperation ended.
• Lucky used Divine Script to immobilize ten agents who came to arrest Beyond, then left as the Voyage Bureau took Beyond away.
• Gel and Kanzai encountered the Pachi Tribe and saw the Tree of Life, while Greed Island opened as a limited Secret Realm Card.
• Illumi brought Killua to Keli City, where Killua lost two Heavenly Arena matches and witnessed Teren summon Saber in a grove.
• Teren explained the Holy Grail War to Killua, while Diana challenged Kura in the arena and defeated her Servant twice to end the battle.
• Ace Conrad recruited Teren, Killua, and Tonpa to oppose the Floor Master participants, and his group decided to target their Servants.
• Teren took Killua to Tianxia Tower, where a Nen Cooking meal opened Killua’s Aura Nodes and helped him form Ten.

Killua Zoldyck traveled to a parallel world, fought Hisoka, and shared what he knew with Gon and the others. Lucky taught Kurapika Divine Script and brought Biscuit into the parallel world, where she faced a mysterious blond boy.

• Killua Zoldyck reached the 200th Floor and discovered that he had been transported to a world where he met Hisoka, Gon Freecss, and an older version of himself.
• Killua Zoldyck fought Hisoka at Heavenly Arena, lost after Hisoka broke his arms, and then told Gon, Wing, and the others about his world.
• Lucky visited a parallel Hunter World, met Kurapika and Izunavi, and taught them Divine Script while helping Kurapika develop his Nen.
• Lucky gave Kurapika a protective necklace and suggested he use his Healing Chain to earn money treating Battera’s sick wife.
• Lucky sent Biscuit to the parallel Heavenly Arena, where she helped Kastro reconsider his clone ability and reunited with Wing and Zushi.
• Biscuit introduced herself to Gon and the Killuas, and Little Killua chose to stay in the parallel world rather than return.
• Biscuit arranged to fight Chairman Netero and discovered that the Conrad Family was an ordinary Mafia family and Julia had died long ago.
• A blond boy attacked the visiting Biscuit, who transformed into her muscular form and struggled as he read her movements and matched her strength.

Biscuit defeated Netero in a Heaven’s Arena match, while Gon, Killua, and Kurapika converged on Yorknew City as the Phantom Troupe attacked the Underground Auction. Kurapika joined the Nostrade Family and prepared to face the Spiders, while the Mafia’s auction plans and Shalnark’s death left the Troupe scattered.

• Biscuit defeated Netero at Heaven’s Arena, and Lucky restored Netero’s vitality with Holy Water.
• Gon lost another fight to Hisoka, while Gon, Killua, and Little Killua headed to Yorknew City to seek Greed Island.
• Kurapika joined the Nostrade Family as deputy captain, and Lucky sent invisible Little Airplanes to monitor the Phantom Troupe.
• The Phantom Troupe attacked the Underground Auction, and Kurapika fought Uvogin before Melody’s music helped him and others escape.
• Kurapika’s group captured Shalnark, but the Shadow Beasts later removed him from the Nostrade base as the fighting continued.
• Kurapika reunited with Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Little Killua, learned about Chrollo’s ability theft, and offered to help them reach Greed Island through Battera.
• Kurapika resolved to fight the Phantom Troupe, while the Mafia made Shalnark the final item in a conditional auction after learning he was dead.
