Arc 1From Referee to Reformer

Lucky rose from a first-floor referee to a position of influence at Heavenly Arena, developing his Nen and building alliances with Biscuit, Netero, and Julia Conrad. After a Wind-Riding Sword School candidate won the chief referee election, Lucky brought proposals for reform to Beyond Netero and gained his support.

The stretch ended with Netero canceling the fourth round and announcing a restricted final exam built around matching Number Plates.

After uncovering the ruins sustaining the tribe’s hidden village, Lucky confronted Valentine and Dinny as they carried off a captured beastman bearing the Pachi War Mark.

  • Lucky passed the Hunter Exam by trading Number Plates, then trained with Netero and learned to sense the wind while dodging the Hundred-Type Guanyin.
  • Lucky returned to the Heavenly Arena, defeated Dominic with Soru, and began selling instructions for the technique while exploring Divine Script and Phoenix’s Contract ability.
  • Julia told Lucky that an abnormal danger threatened Basen Forest, and Biscuit recruited him to capture a humanoid Magical Beast alive.

As the conflict left the tribe grieving and vowing revenge, Lucky turned to expanding the Heavenly Arena through tournaments and new training services, and Julia reported that relics from Dengxia would be auctioned in Yorknew City.

  • Lucky rescued Gold from Valentine and Dinny, learned that the Puwenla Group had experimented on Pachi Tribe members, and brought Gold back to Pachi Village.
  • Lucky offered to help the Pachi Tribe in exchange for its inherited knowledge, then brought Biscuit to the Sacred Land and secured her agreement to train the tribe.
  • The Pachi Tribe submitted to Lucky, who grew a Divine Tree and formed Contracts with tribe members, while Julia arranged medicinal herb cultivation and protection for the tribe’s rainforest interests.
  • Pitman sent teams to investigate the Pachi Tribe, and the tribe fought back as the Conrad Family clashed with Webster’s team and other hired groups.
