Pitch-black material covered his field of vision.
A second later.
The black material dispersed, and an icy wind wrapped around Moyu's body.
"Hm?"
Slightly startled, Moyu quickly surveyed his surroundings as his vision returned.
A bird's nest?
He was inside an enormous, bowl-shaped bird's nest.
But the nest was clean, with no traces of any creatures having lived there.
Countless stars filled the sky above the nest, gathering into a dazzling canopy that surrounded Moyu, seemingly close enough to touch.
Moyu first looked up at the seemingly reachable stars, then walked to the edge of the nest and gazed at the vast sea in the distance, its ripples gleaming silver beneath the moonlight.
"This is... the World Tree?"
Drawing his gaze back from the sea, Moyu looked down at the town below, where he could faintly make out specks of light.
Combining this with his knowledge of the World Tree from the original story, Moyu quickly confirmed his location.

"It felt like it only took about a second, and I was teleported all the way here..."
Moyu was inwardly stunned.
The teleportation ability that unidentified creature had called "Pipeline" rather overturned Moyu's understanding of Emitters.
The most iconic long-distance teleportation ability in the original story was probably the "Accompany" card Gon and Killua had brought out of Greed Island.
That ability enveloped its users in a streak of light, then flew them an enormous distance to somewhere near a preset destination.
By comparison, this so-called Pipeline ability was even more impressive.
It felt like actual instantaneous teleportation across space.
Moyu slowly collected himself.
Luckily, he had been sent into the
