Background / History

Lilith is the Dream Weaver, an Abyss sovereign born alongside the Abyss’s origin and one of its Nine Great Monarchs. Her original power stems from the Abyss Source Core, the foundation from which the Abyss world and its monarchs arose. 97 99

Before her summoning, Lilith was sealed and divided; portions of her true body were suppressed across the universe. One such prison was the Wall of Sighs, where a causal Karma chain linked her incarnation to her sealed body. 626 628 629

Lin Mu forcibly summons her through an Abyss Gate during the Abundance dungeon incident. The world’s laws reduce her to a fraction of her original strength, but Lin Mu’s Abyss Domination compels her to kneel in instinctive submission. 97 After witnessing Lin Mu rewrite the scarecrow’s immunity, Lilith concludes that his authority resembles the legendary Primal Creator’s and voluntarily offers him her soul, laws, and eternal life. 99

The Heaven-Reaching Tower later tests her loyalty by offering her restored Abyssal glory in exchange for killing a “mortal” Lin Mu. Lilith rejects the illusionary sovereign and affirms that she chooses Lin Mu as he truly is, rather than as a cold embodiment of law. 156

At the Wall of Sighs, the Warden attempts to drag her back to imprisonment through Karma. Lin Mu rewrites the prison’s rules, breaks the chain, and enables Lilith to reclaim part of her Abyss Heart and authority. 629 630 632

Lilith’s appearance changes with her disguise, seal state, and released authority. In her restrained incarnation, she presents herself as an ethereal young woman; in her monarch form, her presence distorts space and overwhelms lesser beings. 97 549

Lilith initially reacts to being summoned with monarchial pride, fury, humiliation, and terror at the instinctive submission forced upon her by Lin Mu’s authority. Once she witnesses his ability to alter laws, that humiliation becomes fervent reverence. 97 99

Around Lin Mu, she is affectionate, provocative, playful, and openly devoted. She readily calls herself his maid, enjoys teasing him, and treats serving him as a source of pride. 103 126 151 Her devotion is not solely compelled: during the Inner Demon trial, she consciously rejects a return to supreme Abyssal status in favor of remaining with him. 156

Lilith is also possessive and suspicious of perceived rivals, particularly Elvira, whose ambition she warns Lin Mu not to underestimate. 179 In battle, her demeanor can shift from sweetly amused to maliciously confident or fiercely protective when Lin Mu is threatened. 265 575
