In the banquet hall, the stark white light of the emergency lights illuminated everyone's faces.

The moment the French windows shattered, several jet-black, Xenomorph worker bees crawled in through the broken glass.

A massacre ensued instantly.

The first person to die was a bald man wearing Armani suit.

The Xenomorph hung upside down from the ceiling, its tail piercing his shoulder and lifting him into the air.

Before the bald man could even cry out, his inner canine tooth sprang out and pierced through his skull.

Blood and brain matter splattered on the faces of the guests behind him.

Screams erupted.

The second Xenomorph lunged into the crowd from the side, its claws slicing through the air, and three people were simultaneously disemboweled.

It wasn't just cutting open the skin; it was cutting open the suit, shirt, and ribs all at once.

Internal organs spilled all over the ground.

The third, the fourth, the fifth.

The guests rushed to the door like madmen, crowding the doorway, their cries, screams, and the sounds of bones breaking all mixed together.

Shen Wanlin's face turned pale.

He clung tightly to Shen Shuwei, searching for another exit.

Just when he thought the exit was ahead, he saw a woman in an evening gown being dragged into the darkness by the Xenomorph's long tail, her ankles wrapped around it.

The screams lasted less than two seconds before stopping, leaving only the sound of bones cracking and slime dripping.

That wasn't the exit at all, but the entrance to the buffet.

The father and daughter had no choice but to turn back.

Just then, Shen Shuwei saw Fu Haoran standing there "blankly".

Fu Haoran stood still, neither running nor hiding, not because he was terrified, but because he was speechless.

[Enemy Unit: Purestrain Genestealer (Drone-class)]

"System, you're saying this is Purestrain Genestealer? This is clearly Xenomorph."

[Killing Purestrain Genestealer rewards 100 Universal Points; killing Xenomorph rewards 10 Universal Points.]

Fu Haoran paused for a second, then chose the more Universal Points over his conscience.

"You're right, these are Purestrain Genestealer. Everyone has the right to kill them. To protect human civilization, we must wipe out these scum today."

Lucifer sat on a dining chair nearby, a piece of Wagyu beef stuck in her silver fork, which she slowly put into her mouth.

She didn't even look up.

For a former Necron Overlord hadn't eaten for countless millennia, nothing was more important than the plate of A5 Wagyu beef pan-fried by Michelin Samsung chef before him.

An Xenomorph has locked onto them.

Among the screaming and running prey, two prey standing still stood out.

It arched its back, tensed its muscles, and exerted force with all four limbs as it pounced on Fu Haoran.

A foul-smelling wind rushed towards him, and his inner teeth, sticky with mucus, shot out from his open mouth, less than ten centimeters from Fu Haoran's face.

With a flick of his wrist, Fu Haoran precisely shoved the stainless steel spoon into the Xenomorph's open mouth, then down its esophagus and into its chest cavity.

The force was so great that the entire spoon, handle and all, was submerged in the Xenomorph's throat.

The inner canal tooth can't pop out; it's stuck halfway, like a snapped spring.

The Xenomorph let out a shrill cry, its long tail whistling as it stabbed towards Fu Haoran's waist.

Fu Haoran's left hand precisely gripped its fan-shaped head, and his wrist twisted sharply.

Click.

With a sharp crack, the Xenomorph's head was twisted 180 degrees, its limbs twitched twice, and it fell to the ground.

[ Universal Points +100]

Fu Haoran shook the slime off his hands, looked at the corpse on the ground, and frowned.

"I have a feeling this Xenomorph is much weaker than I imagined."

Fu Haoran was unaware that, after multiple rounds of enhancements in the Warhammer World, he had long since transcended the realm of ordinary people.

No matter how strong the Xenomorph is, its attributes are only slightly higher than those of a normal human.

Just as Fu Haoran was thinking this, the French windows shattered again with a loud crash.

Three larger Xenomorph roared as they crawled in, their fan-shaped heads gleaming with a cold light in their eye sockets, and they were a size larger than the one he had just killed.

Fu Haoran raised an eyebrow, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"That's more like it. No wonder it was so weak; it was just a scout. Alright, if the quality isn't good enough, quantity will make up for it. Perfect for getting me some Universal Points."

Amidst the horrified gazes of the guests, Fu Haoran charged towards the Xenomorph at the front.

He dodged the Xenomorph's inner jaws by sidestepping, and then unleashed a powerful right punch that sent the Xenomorph's entire head crashing into the concrete ceiling.

A section of the ceiling had collapsed, and the Xenomorph's body was hanging in mid-air, its limbs still twitching.

The second Xenomorph lunged from the side. Fu Haoran swiftly chopped it in the neck with a backhand chop.

With a snap, the Xenomorph's neck was knocked ninety degrees off, and it crashed heavily to the ground.

Its neck was tilted, but it wasn't dead; its forearms were still flailing, trying to get up.

The third Xenomorph turned to run away, but Fu Haoran kicked it in the abdomen.

The immense force of the kick snapped the Xenomorph in half at the waist, separating its upper and lower body. Half of its body flew out of the floor-to-ceiling window and crashed onto the steps outside the hotel.

Fu Haoran peeked out and cursed.

"He wasn't kicked to death."

He looked down into the banquet hall and saw several Xenomorph crawling between the tables and chairs, their enormous heads looming in the darkness.

One of them was dragging the waiter's body into the ventilation duct, while the other was hanging upside down from the ceiling, tearing apart a living guest.

"There are as many as Rat."

The banquet hall doors were kicked open.

Tychus stormed in, wielding a shotgun and cursing, followed by a dozen or so armed DYB security guards.

The shotgun was pressed against the chest of the nearest Xenomorph, blasting its upper body to pieces.

"Boss, couldn't you have picked a better time to call me over? Wait, what the hell is this?!"

Without turning his head, Fu Haoran kicked the Xenomorph that pounced at him away.

"Stop talking nonsense, pack up all the ingredients here and take them with you."

Tychus doubted he had heard correctly. He admitted to having a habit of petty theft, but he felt rather innocent compared to his governor.

Lucifer paused, her hand, which had been slowly cutting her steak, then put down her knife and fork and elegantly wiped her mouth.

"You're right, I'll go see what else the kitchen has to offer."

Tychus rolled his eyes, cursing under his breath.

After serving the boss, I also have to serve this shrew. I'm truly born to be a gofer.

He didn't dare to be negligent and followed after them.

Behind the kitchen doorway, Shen Shuwei stood frozen in place. Just a moment ago, she had been inwardly scorning the man for using such a clichéd pickup line to get her attention, calling him a spineless scoundrel.

The next moment, you watch as this "scoundrel," amidst the screams and chaos, single-handedly takes down one monster after another that could tear an adult to shreds.

Shen Wanlin was also dumbfounded.

He actually told his daughter to stay away from him; he actually thought this big shot was just a driver who'd snuck in to freeload.

Fu Haoran didn't glance at them once from beginning to end, and turned to walk towards the hotel entrance.

Outside the window, the night sky over the southern suburbs of Washington was tinged red by towering flames, and the lights of the entire southern city were going out one by one.

Let's rewind to about ten minutes ago.

A power plant in the southern suburbs of Washington, D. C.

The ground was littered with the corpses of Xenomorph, as well as several low-level Reincarnator torn apart by the Xenomorph.

Nobody gave it a second glance.

"Everything's ready." Steel Husk turned around. "The explosives have been planted at the core of the generator set. Once detonated, the entire power grid in southern Washington will be completely paralyzed."

Fury over his rocket launcher, he asked in a gruff voice, "Really going to explode? If it does, we'll be in trouble too."

"Troublesome?" The Magnet Queen chuckled. "The Supreme God only asked us to live for seventy-two hours, not to save the world."

"Blowing up the power plant will benefit our operation," Night Owl chimed in, his voice icy. "The more Xenomorph, the more Universal Points we can farm. This is a rare opportunity to rack up points; we absolutely can't miss it."

Boom!

A deafening explosion came from the core of the power plant, and towering flames dyed half of the night sky red.

The lights across southern Washington, D. C., went out one by one in an instant, plunging the area into complete darkness.

Inside the underground pipe network, countless Xenomorph, startled by the explosion, roared excitedly and spread wildly to every corner of the city along the dark pipes.

Your one-stop haven for novel reading.

Night Owl raised his hand, his voice icy. " Steel Husk, track down the Xenomorph Queen's location. We're going for the first kill."

" Flame Demon and Magnet Queen, you two take the low-level Reincarnator and spread out to farm points. Be careful to avoid Predator's signals."

" Fury, come with me."

The group responded, and their figures vanished instantly into the darkness of the control room.

A weapons shop in an affluent neighborhood.

When Fu Haoran pushed open the door, the shop owner was cleaning a shotgun behind the counter.

When he saw Fu Haoran, dressed in a suit and tie, walk in, he only raised his eyelids slightly.

He'd seen plenty of rich people who suddenly decided to buy a gun just for fun.

"The largest caliber pistol."

The shopkeeper put down the shotgun and took a gun case from under the counter. Inside, there lay a beautifully crafted revolver.

"RSH-12 assault revolver, Russia import." The shopkeeper took the gun out and slammed it on the counter. "It can penetrate 16mm steel plates at 200 meters."

"However, I must remind you that nobody buys this thing for self-defense. People who buy it either collect it or go bear hunting."

Fu Haoran picked it up and weighed it in his hand. It felt nice to hold, but it was too "light".

"We also need a tactical axe."

The boss took a Winkler Breaching Axe down from the wall.

Approximately 35 cm in length, forged from 80CrV2 carbon steel, with a hammer on the back of the axe, and a black anodized finish.

Fu Haoran held the axe in his hand and weighed it in his hand, and was fairly satisfied.

"One more shotgun, Remington M870, short-barreled."

The more the boss listened, the more uneasy he felt, and cold sweat began to bead on his forehead.

But these items were all within the scope of civilian sales permits, so he gritted his teeth and took out the gun anyway.

However, Fu Haoran did not want to give up.

He raised his hand and pointed to the display case at the very back of the counter.

"That ASH-12 assault rifle, and the matching 12.7mm armor-piercing ammunition. Take it all."

The shopkeeper's face turned pale instantly. "Sir, this gun is military grade; it can't be sold for civilian use..."

Fu Haoran slapped the black card on the counter, then took out his National Guard Major General's officer's ID and slapped it next to the black card.

The shopkeeper immediately shut up and quickly packed up the gun, magazines, and bullets.

Ten minutes later, Fu Haoran drove his own DYB pickup truck, loaded with firearms and ammunition, straight to the National Guard's Washington, D. C. base.

National Guard base in Washington, D. C.

The station has a staff of approximately 2,400, of which about 700 are from the Special Administrative Region and the rest are from surrounding states.

Most of the soldiers were stationed near the National Mall and the Lincoln Memorial, while the armory had fewer than 300 men on duty.

A group of National Guard soldiers were gathered at the entrance of the armory, smoking.

Some people were scrolling through their phones, while others were complaining.

"Look at the news! The entire southern suburbs are dark. The news says there was an accident at the power plant and it can't be repaired anytime soon."

"I can't believe it, this is Washington, D. C., and we still have to experience a power outage."

"Who cares? It's not like they're letting us go to war anyway."

Before the words were finished, an Xenomorph leaped down from the roof of the armory and pounced on the soldier closest to the door.

With a slash of its claws across his chest, the bulletproof vest was sliced open like paper.

Before the soldier could even scream, his inner canine tooth sprang out and pierced through his eye socket.

"Fuck!"

The remaining people instantly fell into chaos.

Some drew their guns, some ran to the armory, and some collapsed on the ground, their legs weak.

A soldier raised M4 Carbine and opened fire wildly at the Xenomorph.

The bullet struck the alien's bony exoskeleton on Xenomorph front, sending up Mars and leaving only shallow bullet marks; it couldn't penetrate the shell at all.

The Xenomorph just swayed, roaring as it continued crawling forward.

The soldiers panicked even more, pulling the triggers. Amidst the hail of bullets, the Xenomorph let out a piercing scream and finally died.

But it was too late.

The second Xenomorph crawled out of the side ventilation duct, its tail spike instantly piercing the machine gunner's shoulder, pinning him to the wall.

The third, the fourth, the fifth.

In the darkness, alien Xenomorph kept crawling in through the roof, vents, and cracks in doors and windows, and the soldiers' defenses collapsed instantly.

Three minutes later, seventeen soldiers were killed in action, and the rest were forced to retreat to the deepest part of the armory, where they built a makeshift defensive line using ammunition boxes. They had already used up nearly half of their rifle bullets.

The Xenomorph blocked the entrance, their fan-shaped heads swaying in the darkness like a pack of wolves surrounding their prey, but they didn't rush in rashly.

Suddenly, the soldiers saw lights coming from outside the window. Just as someone was about to warn them, they saw the approaching pickup truck run over an Xenomorph that was crouching at the door.

Crush the Xenomorph's exoskeleton along with its internal organs.

The pickup truck drifted and stopped in front of the armory.

The car door opened.

Fu Haoran jumped down and saw the Xenomorph that was trapped under the car but wasn't quite dead yet.

The creature was still struggling with its upper body, its claws scratching at the ground as it tried to crawl away.

Fu Haoran walked over, stepped on its back, gripped the Winkler Breaching Axe tightly in his left hand, and chopped down with the blade, the axe blade cutting through the air.

The Xenomorph's head, along with its fan-shaped armor, was cleaved in two.

Because of the speed, the Xenomorph's corrosive blood didn't even have time to splash onto the axe blade.

Then they walked toward the armory.

The soldiers inside initially only faintly heard the roars of monsters coming from outside, occasionally accompanied by gunshots.

As time went on, the enormous impact and the monster's screams grew louder and louder.

Finally, the door was opened by the access card, and a young Asian man in a slightly dirty bespoke suit walked in.

"I am Major General Fu Haoran. From this moment forward, command of this garrison is mine."

A sergeant major, his face covered in blood, stepped forward, gripping his M4 rifle tightly, his eyes wary. "Sir! This isn't in accordance with regulations! We need formal authorization from the Pentagon, or a presidential order!"

Without wasting words, Fu Haoran first took out his officer's ID as a major general in the Washington National Guard and tossed it to the sergeant major.

The sergeant took the certificate, examined it three times, and his expression changed instantly. The certificate was genuine, and the rank was two levels higher than that of the highest-ranking commander in the area.

In front of him, Fu Haoran dialed Major General Bradley's encrypted satellite phone.

The phone was answered after two rings, and Bradley's anxious voice came through. "Major General Fu? Where are you? Washington is in complete chaos! The power plant in the southern suburbs has been bombed, half of the city's power grid is down, and there are reports of attacks by unidentified creatures everywhere!"

"I'm at the Hong Kong National Guard base, and I'm needed here to take command."

"No problem! I'll issue formal authorization to the local command right now! You have full authority over emergency response in Washington, D. C., and all National Guard are at your command!"

Less than ten seconds after the phone call ended, the broadcast at the base command center came on, officially conveying the Pentagon's authorization order.

Fu Haoran turned around, looked at the soldiers huddled in the armory, and added without batting an eye, "Enter the city immediately, eliminate all hostile targets that threaten national security, and protect the safety of the citizens. Do you understand?"

The soldiers, belatedly realizing what was happening, nodded repeatedly, instantly finding their leader.

"Everyone, take all the weapons and ammunition you can carry: M240 General Purpose Machine Gun, AT4 Rocket Launcher, Frag Grenade, stun grenades—take as many as you can."

"Then start all the M1117 Armored Personnel Carrier, Humvee, and M2 Bradley, and load all their machine guns."

"Third group, immediately contact the troops stationed at the National Mall and Lincoln Memorial, and have them gather all equipment and vehicles at the main gate of their base within ten minutes."

At the command, the previously panicked soldiers instantly sprang into action.

Half an hour later, the Armored Vehicle garage door burst open.

Four M2 Bradley led the way, followed by eight M1117 Armored Personnel Carrier, all with heavy machine guns mounted on their roofs.

On both sides were more than twenty Humvee equipped with bulletproof armor.

From the direction of the National Mall, three more Armored Vehicle and a dozen Humvee sped towards them. The captain leading the group jumped out of one of the vehicles and gave Fu Haoran a crisp salute. "Reporting, sir! The 372nd Military Police Battalion, 120 men, is fully assembled! Requesting instructions!"

Fu Haoran glanced at the line in front of him.

Including the remnants of the armory and the arriving military police battalion, he now has nearly four hundred fully armed soldiers and nearly fifty armored vehicles of various types, enough to tear a gap in downtown Washington.

However, this number was not enough; the Xenomorph signals from all over the city were still being refreshed frantically on the System Panel.

"Let's go to the police station first and mobilize all available resources."

Fu Haoran's thinking was clear: since he belonged to the local forces, why not make use of them? He wasn't fighting alone.
