Background / History

Red Moon is an inheritor of the Primordial Void Lineage and regards the Black Sword—known to her as the Void Sword—as her lineage’s sacred artifact. When she discovered that Zhou Heng had received the sword’s recognition, she examined his memories to learn how he had obtained it, then spared him after identifying him as part of the Void lineage. 781

She was gravely injured in the past and fell from the Bright World into the Immortal World approximately six hundred thousand years earlier. To heal herself, she created an isolated world with a different flow of time, populated it with living beings, and drew upon their faith. Upon awakening, she reclaimed the Life Essence of every creature in that world, destroying it completely. 781

Her history with Huotian is central to her past. Huotian recognizes her as a disciple and calls her a traitor; Red Moon’s later recovered memories identify Huotian as her master. 834 950 1047 Later accounts state that Destiny True Lord ambushed Red Moon during her reincarnation, exploiting her weakened state.
