Background

Early life and meeting Su Ze

Chen Keqing is a student at No. 3 High School in Suzhou City. She considers herself poor at studying despite being capable in other areas, particularly housework, baking, and battle-royale games. Her college-entrance results are not ideal. 14 19

After Su Ze escorts her home, Chen Keqing asks for his contact information so that she can thank him properly. She later meets him after school with a handmade cake, beginning their acquaintance over hot pot and casual conversation. Initially cautious around Su Ze, she gradually lowers her guard because she believes he has no ill intent. 14 19 38

She has no previous dating experience due to her family’s strict rules. Although outwardly reserved, she is internally expressive, nervous, and prone to overthinking her relationship with Su Ze. 20 38 42

Apocalypse and awakening
