It was the sixth day on the Uninhabited Island, and it was hotter than any day before.
Rather than just hot, it was stifling, the kind of heat that naturally formed in Class D's densely forested campsite.
Qiuyue raised a hand to shield his eyes from the sun, feeling a little smug.
As expected, it rained on the sixth day. If my butterfly effect could even change the weather, that'd be incredible. I might as well just go home and grow vegetables.
Seeing the weather, the people in Class D, whose moods were already poor, felt even worse.
Yukimura led by example. After the morning roll call, he immediately wanted to set off for the other classes, but Hirata stopped him. In the end, they split into several groups.
Ibuki from Class C joined one of the groups, along with Horikita, Ayanokoji, Yamauchi, Ike, Kushida, and others.
Qiuyue watched Ayanokoji's group.
This was the same lineup as in the original, except Sakura wasn't with them this time. I don't believe Ayanokoji would let those other three be the leaders, so who else could he have picked?
Then Hirata naturally assigned Qiuyue to Karuizawa's group, since Sakura was in it too.
Qiuyue quickly figured out why.
Hirata probably asked Karuizawa to look after Sakura. He was a nice guy, after all. And after I stood up for Sakura yesterday, I was probably one of the few people in class who didn't have a problem with her.
Karuizawa Kei, Sato Maya, Airi Sakura, Qiuyue Qi, Matsushita Chiaki, and Miyake Akito made up the six-person group.
The six of them searched the forest for the campsites of Class B and Class A.
