Perhaps that was why Shiraishi Makoto had managed to raise his combat ability to the school's top tier in just six months. As a child, he had indeed been trained to the standards of the White Room's fourth generation. Even though he had left the White Room over a decade ago, that childhood training had laid a solid foundation for his body.
The school's small boat docked along the shore. Aside from the staff member operating it, three teachers were aboard: Hoshinomiya Chie, Mashima Tomoya, and Chabashira Sae.
"It looks like it's time for us to make our exit too." Tsukishiro Tokinari spotted the teachers stepping off the boat.
"Please let me ask one last question, Acting Chairman Tsukishiro. Did you genuinely want to have me expelled?" Ayanokoji Kiyotaka voiced his doubts.
Although Tsukishiro Tokinari had been making trouble for Shiraishi Makoto and Ayanokoji Kiyotaka ever since he arrived at the school, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka had noticed something amiss as those problems were resolved one after another.
If he had been in Tsukishiro's position, he would have prepared more personnel and devised plans that were harder to foil. But to put it bluntly, his opponent's performance so far had been rather stupid, inferior even to the teachers in the White Room.
"You give me too much credit. I followed my superiors' instructions and did everything I could to have you expelled. I simply failed in the end." Tsukishiro Tokinari shook his head.
Shiraishi Makoto spoke up then as well.
"Acting Chairman Tsukishiro, what relationship would you like us to have the next time we meet?"
Tsukishiro Tokinari paused, then the corners of his mouth curled upward again.
"If we meet again, I hope you'll be my employer."
Shiraishi Makoto kept his eyes fixed on Tsukishiro's,
