Hoshinomiya Chie slowly stepped down from the podium and approached Class A's group.
"It's really sunny here. Should we move somewhere shadier?" Hoshinomiya Chie raised a hand to shield herself from the sunlight, looking as though she could not take it anymore.
The other students nodded in agreement. They were all wearing long-sleeved tracksuits and pants, and the heat had already made them sweat.
"Then let's hurry up and go, Sensei." Ichinose Honami stepped forward, took Hoshinomiya's hand, and led the entire class beneath the trees.
The temperature was noticeably lower in the shade of the leaves.
"Now, let's go over the detailed rules~" Hoshinomiya Chie began explaining the finer points only after all four classes had spread out.
"First, let's look at the penalties."
Hoshinomiya Chie opened the final pages of her handbook and read them aloud to the students one by one.
The penalties included the following: withdrawing from the exam cost 30 points; polluting the environment cost 20 points; missing roll call at 8 a.m. or 8 p.m. cost 5 points per person; committing violence or theft against another class disqualified the offender's class directly, while also confiscating all of that student's Private Points.
"Sensei, does polluting the environment... mean producing household waste?" Kanzaki Ryuji asked.
"That's right, but the school has prepared a simple toilet for each class." Hoshinomiya pointed at the supplies piled up by the beach. "Besides one simple toilet, the school provides unlimited plastic bags and absorbent cloths. You can use the plastic bags to store your household waste properly."
"Also, the two tents provided by the school are large eight-person tents, and each one weighs fifteen kilograms. The boys in the class will have to work hard later." Hoshinomiya Chie continued.
