Uchiha Kō looked at the system panel, which had a shop, a roulette wheel, and a mission system. He had 0 points at the moment, so he didn't check the shop or the roulette wheel. Instead, he opened the mission panel.
Well, would you look at that. There were daily missions, weekly missions, achievements, chance encounters, and affection levels. It had everything you could ask for. There was even a helpful reminder at the top.
"Tasks never run out. Only useless people who don't want to do them."
This gave Uchiha Kō a headache. What was this? PUA! What was this? Capitalism! You beasts!
What did it mean, "Tasks never run out, only useless people who don't want to do them"? It was no different from saying, "As long as you can endure hardship, there'll be endless hardship!"
Uchiha Kō sighed. Just then, he noticed that he had already completed some of the missions.
Achievement Mission: Awaken the Sharingan (Congratulations, you're now a useless person with some strength. Keep working hard!) Reward: 500 points
Affection Mission: Uzumaki Mito (Acquaintances who nod to each other) Reward: 50 points
Affection Mission: Tsunade (Briefly acquainted) Reward: 10 points
Uchiha Kō let out a breath. He was quite well-off now, or so he thought. But when he opened the shop, his face turned green. What was all this?

Uchiha Kō hurriedly closed the shop. He'd thought he was quite well-off. As it turned out, his fortune was just enough to buy a C-rank ninjutsu!
Damn, what use was a C-rank ninjutsu? Not to mention the Sage Body and Mangekyō Sharingan. It seemed he was still a pauper.
Wait, wasn't there still the roulette wheel? Uchiha Kō opened it and looked at the prizes. Hmm, not bad. There were eight slots in total: five glowing ones in red, gold, purple, blue, and green, and the remaining three were "Better luck next time," "One month's supply of Military Ration Pills," and "One month's supply of water."
Uchiha Kō nodded. The prizes looked all right, but one spin cost 168 points. He hesitated. A five-spin pull only cost 800 points, but he had just 560, so he decided to save up a little longer.
After closing the system panel, he spoke in his mind. "System, you know everything, right?"
"Ding! The system is omniscient. Host, ask anything you like."
"What's Danzo doing right now?" Uchiha Kō suddenly asked.
"Ding! This information requires 10 points. Would the host like to view it?"
"Show me." Uchiha Kō was curious. Danzo had been quite well-behaved during this battle. Sarutobi Hiruzen had just taken office, and Danzo had only just become a Konoha elder advisor. Even for his own benefit, he ought to fight well in this battle!
"Ding! A video will now play for the host."
Suddenly, an image appeared in Uchiha Kō's mind.
The Third Hokage had just finished a meeting and assigned the teams. Then the dashing Danzo pushed open the door and walked in.
"Sarutobi, a young Uchiha has gotten close to Tsunade and Lady Mito. I suspect the Uchiha Clan is planning a rebellion! I recommend handing that kid over to me for interrogation!" Shimura Danzō slapped the Third Hokage's desk.
Sarutobi Hiruzen frowned, then interlaced his fingers and held them in front of his mouth. "Danzo, I already know about this. Leave it alone for now. And the Uchiha are Konoha's Uchiha. If they wanted to rebel, they would've left with Madara Uchiha back then!"
"Besides, don't forget that Kagami is our teammate, and an Uchiha recognized by our teacher! We're about to go to battle, and the Uchiha are one of the village's forces."
Danzo snorted. "It's true that Kagami was recognized by our teacher, but don't forget the Uchiha Clan's talent. Once they awaken the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, they can attain the strength of an elite jōnin. Aren't you worried?" A sly glint appeared in his eyes.
"Enough, Danzo! I'm the Hokage! Keep your little schemes to yourself! The Uchiha are off-limits for now!" The Third Hokage slammed his hand down on the desk. Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura, sitting nearby, jumped. Sarutobi Hiruzen was in his prime, and after becoming Hokage, he had grown more than a little domineering!
"Sarutobi, you!" Shimura Danzō was stunned. He hadn't expected his good friend to use his position as Hokage against him. This was the first time! All for a bunch of naturally evil Uchiha brats!
"Fine, Sarutobi. You'll regret this!" Danzo left the Hokage Office, smashing the door with his right hand.
The bang made no effort to hide his fury. Sarutobi Hiruzen watched Danzo leave and fell into thought.
Nearby, Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura urged Sarutobi Hiruzen not to get angry, saying Danzo had acted on impulse. Sarutobi Hiruzen wasn't the old man he would become later. He had a mind of his own. Anyone who dared challenge him would be met with a fight! He wouldn't be easily swayed by Danzo's provocations, either.
Sarutobi Hiruzen picked up his pipe and lit it. Smoke filled the meeting room. No one knew what he was thinking.
Utatane Koharu didn't like the smell of smoke, but she didn't dare say anything just then. She stood quietly to one side, waiting for Sarutobi Hiruzen's instructions.
Mitokado Homura, meanwhile, continued trying to comfort Sarutobi Hiruzen.
The video ended there. Uchiha Kō nodded. It seemed Sarutobi Hiruzen was still the Shinobi Hero, not the Shinobi Coward.
Just then, the door suddenly opened, and Tsunade walked in. Her long ponytail and her now-developing figure radiated charm every moment.
Uchiha Kō couldn't help glancing at her. Tsunade froze, then suddenly remembered he was still in the house. A smile spread across her face. "Kō, you're awake. How are you feeling? Are you any better?"
Tsunade asked naturally as she took off her ninja armor. Underneath, her tight black outfit showed off her figure to the fullest.
Tsunade didn't realize how much this habitual action affected Uchiha Kō. He quickly turned his head away, a blush spreading across both cheeks.
Only then did Tsunade notice what she was wearing. She couldn't help blushing, but seeing Uchiha Kō's reaction, she suddenly stopped feeling nervous for some reason. Instead, she rolled her eyes.
"Kō, what's wrong? Why's your face so red?" Tsunade teased, her playful side taking over.
Uchiha Kō's face grew even redder at her words. He stammered, "T-Tsunade, could you maybe go change first?"
Tsunade tilted her head, the corners of her mouth lifting in a puzzled smile. "But, but this is my house!"
Uchiha Kō's mind exploded with a bang. He hurriedly lowered his head and said, "R-Right. Sorry, I—I'll go outside first."
With that, he fled through the door. Now in the courtyard of the Senju Ancestral Home, a cold breeze blew past, clearing Uchiha Kō's head somewhat. He let out a long breath and looked at the moon overhead, his heart pounding.
Tsunade looked through the window at Uchiha Kō in the courtyard and couldn't help laughing in her room. How had she never noticed that the taciturn boy had this side to him?
As she looked at Uchiha Kō, bathed in moonlight, she suddenly thought he was kind of handsome. She shook her head, drew the curtains, and changed into something looser but still proper.
I'll slow the pacing of this novel down, and try to make it more detailed, more logical, and better at handling the romance.
