Training in Illusions

Uchiha Kō returned to the lounge. With a kick of his legs and a turn, he threw himself onto his soft bed.

"Mmm~ ah~ After a whole day of work, I can finally rest." Uchiha Kō's lips curled upward. Hokage, supreme commander—none of that mattered right now. The bed was what mattered most!

Just as he was about to take off his clothes and sleep, someone suddenly knocked on the door.

Knock, knock, knock.

The three standard knocks made Uchiha Kō stop moving. Dressed in a black shirt, he frowned. Who would come looking for him this late at night?

He circulated his ocular chakra and transformed his eyes into the Byakugan, using its x-ray vision to look outside the door.

In the end, he found Uchiha Obito standing outside, and raised an eyebrow.

"Come in." After saying that, Uchiha Kō switched his eyes to the Golden Rinnegan and used Banshō Ten'in to turn the doorknob.

The door opened. Uchiha Obito pushed it open and saw Uchiha Kō the moment he entered.

Uchiha Kō was sitting in a chair and was about to get up to make tea when Uchiha Obito said, "Lord Hokage, I want you to teach me combat techniques."

Uchiha Kō looked at him, amusement flickering in his eyes. "Aren't you afraid I'll throw you out, coming to see me this late?"

"No. Rather than being afraid of Lord Hokage throwing me out, I'm more afraid that I won't be able to protect Rin!" Uchiha Obito stared at Uchiha Kō with unwavering eyes.

Uchiha Kō helplessly rubbed his forehead. He had indeed promised to properly temper this love-struck fool's combat ability and techniques, but he had never intended for him to come looking for him in the middle of the night!

So Uchiha Kō clicked his tongue.
