Father and Son Battle

Every one of Shimura Danzō's filthy deeds was horrifying and could not be exposed to the public. Once they were, even Sarutobi Hiruzen, the "deeply beloved" Third Hokage, would have to swiftly cut ties with him.

After venting for a while, Sarutobi Hiruzen suddenly turned grave. "I ask all the seniors and Kage present to bear witness: from this day onward, Konoha will strip Shimura Danzō of all his positions, including Hokage Advisor, Root leader, and all others."

"And he will never be employed again. As for Shimura Danzō, once this matter is settled, Konoha will put him on trial!"
