As news of the Blackbeard Pirates' reappearance rapidly spread across the New World, new bounties for the Blackbeard Pirates' band of villains were issued the very next day.

Earlier, Crocodile had broken a large number of pirate prisoners out of Impel Down and founded Cross Guild.

Yet Blackbeard Teach, Chameleon Cameo, Grim Reaper Doc Q, and the others had never appeared.

For a time, the world believed that Blackbeard Teach, one of the Shichibukai, had been betrayed and killed by Sand Crocodile Crocodile, the former Shichibukai.

That sly crocodile, Crocodile, had merely used Blackbeard Teach, the newly appointed Shichibukai, to achieve his own goals and plans.

After all, Sand Crocodile had always been renowned for his schemes.

The facts seemed to prove it. Crocodile had become the leader of Cross Guild and ascended to the position of one of the new Four Emperors in one fell swoop.

He had made an enormous leap from former Shichibukai to Four Emperor.

Now, in the eyes of the world, Sand Crocodile, this new Four Emperor, was synonymous with strategy and cunning.

Yet no one had expected this.

Not only was Blackbeard Teach alive, but he had recruited even more powerful figures and reemerged.

He was also swiftly recognized by the World Government as a new Four Emperor.

He had even joined forces once more with Crocodile, his "former subordinate," forming a powerful alliance of two Emperors that dominated the New World with
