What Wentworth said left Draco stunned once more.
Although Wentworth's words were completely different from what his father had told him, Draco had wanted to argue. But he didn't know how. His reason told him that Wentworth wasn't wrong, either.
He had never seen one used, but he had heard of the Killing Curse. It wouldn't spare him just because he was Pure-blood.
"Then what makes someone noble?"
Draco asked after thinking it over for a long time without finding an answer.
"Strength, of course. Anyone, no matter their background, becomes the noblest person in the Wizarding World if they possess its greatest power!"
Wentworth said as if it were obvious.
Draco's eyes lit up at Wentworth's words. He said thoughtfully, "I think I understand what you mean. Like that person whose name must not be spoken, right?"
"I mean Dumbledore! Albus Dumbledore!"
Wentworth rolled his eyes and said irritably.
"What are you saying about me, children?"
Just then, Dumbledore's voice suddenly sounded behind them, making them both jump. Wentworth and Draco turned around and saw Dumbledore returning with Fudge and Lucius.
"Wentworth told me that being Pure-blood doesn't make you noble!"
As soon as Draco began speaking, Lucius furrowed his brow and was about to say something. But then Draco continued, "Even though he's Pure-blood too."
At that, Lucius and the others looked at Wentworth curiously. Lucius asked, "Then what does make someone noble?"
Draco answered his father's question.
"Strength. Wentworth said that Headmaster Dumbledore has the greatest power in the Wizarding World, so he's the noblest person in it!"
Everyone's expression changed slightly when Draco finished speaking. Fudge looked a little displeased, but still forced a smile. Lucius seemed to recall something, and a trace of fear showed in his eyes.
Dumbledore, meanwhile, looked at Wentworth and thought,
