When Wentworth tiptoed back into the Hufflepuff Common Room, he found that, contrary to expectation, someone was still waiting for him in the room that should have been empty.

"What are you two doing?"

Wentworth looked in surprise at Cedric and Coke, curled up on the sofa and occasionally moving the Wizard's Chess pieces in front of them. A warm feeling stirred in his heart.

"Yawn. Obviously, we were waiting for you! By the way, what punishment did Headmaster Dumbledore give you? How come it lasted until now?"

Coke asked, looking utterly exhausted.

"You seem to be in pretty good shape," Cedric chimed in.

"Headmaster Dumbledore and I went on an official errand, and I brought you both a little gift while I was at it!"

As he spoke, Wentworth pulled out two Golden Snitches and handed one to Cedric and one to Coke.

They took them and saw the words engraved on them: "1990 Quidditch World Cup Final."

Cedric and Coke fell silent for a moment. Then they exchanged a glance, lunged at Wentworth together, and pinned him beneath them. Cedric said in a low voice:

"Tell us! What did you get up to? Give us every last detail of what happened tonight!"

After Wentworth had recounted the whole night, Cedric was all right, but Coke looked full of regret.

"If I'd known that was Headmaster Dumbledore's punishment, I should've hit Vane with another nasty curse right in front of him!"

"Oh, give it a rest. Do you think you're Wentworth? It's obvious Headmaster Dumbledore gave him special treatment!"

Cedric, at least, was clearheaded.

"Anyway, now that Wentworth's back, we should get some sleep!"

But Coke rejected Cedric's suggestion.

"Sleep? Have you even looked at the time? We'll have to get up for breakfast and class soon! Trust me,
