• Houka regained consciousness and explained that Shenwei had awakened his bloodline and produced a Soul Fire while helping save Rocks and Loki.
• Houka learned that two and a half hours had passed inside the Lost World, meaning more than five days had passed outside.
• Houka opened a tiny Rainbow Gate and transformed into lightning to escape alone, leaving Rocks, Stussy, and the others behind.
• The World Government announced that Houka, Rocks, and Loki had been killed, offered rewards for their remains, and attacked the New World and Elbaf.
• Gloriosa insisted that Houka was still alive and continued searching for him despite Shakky urging her to leave.

Gloriosa and the Kuja Pirates were pursued by Sang Kingdom's fleet as they searched West Blue for Kozuki Houka. When Gloriosa called out to Houka near a vast sea crater, he appeared in a flash of lightning and destroyed the pursuing fleet, then urgently contacted Newgate, Charlotte Linlin, and the others.

• Shakky persuaded Gloriosa to search for Kozuki Houka for only two more days before leaving West Blue for the New World.
• Shakky spotted Sang Kingdom's fleet, and its pirate samurai pursued the Kuja Pirates, hoping to capture Gloriosa and seize Amazon Lily.
• Gloriosa led the Kuja Pirates toward the Calm Belt, but a favorable wind let Sang Kingdom's fleet chase them toward a vast sea crater.
• Gloriosa called out to Kozuki Houka for help, and Houka suddenly appeared above the crater and unleashed Myriad Thunder on the Sang Kingdom fleet.

Harald returned to Elbaf as the World Government’s campaign plunged the New World into widespread plunder and war. With Elbaf preparing to face an invasion and Houka still missing, the Rocks Pirates’ leaders planned how to defend the island; then Charlotte Linlin’s Transponder Snail rang.

• Harald returned to Elbaf and declared the nation at war, mobilizing its Giants to defend every landing point.
• The Marines and allied fleets ravaged the New World, while warlike kingdoms also attacked neighboring nations and Dressrosa and Prodence suffered heavy losses.
• The Rocks Pirates’ officers gathered in Aurust Castle, worried that Houka had not answered and discussing retreating the Elbaf children to the Sky Kingdom if the island fell.
• Redfield, Shiki, and other fighters assigned themselves opponents, while Charlotte Linlin and Ancient Moon Ryuma expressed confidence that Houka would return.

Houka returned to Aurust Castle after assuring everyone that Loki and Rocks were alive, while the Kuja Pirates set course for the New World with his contact information. Back in Elbaf, Houka prepared to recover before separating Redfield and Newgate from Katakuri and Ryuma.

• Houka told everyone that Loki was being treated and that Rocks was fine, then prepared to teleport back to Elbaf.

Imu mistook Houka’s hesitation for fear of a prophecy and grew more determined to awaken God-level Conqueror’s Haki, leaving the battle on the verge of erupting.

• Houka sensed Imu’s arrival, returned to Elbaf, and hid his family and the Giant children in the Lost World.
• Imu gathered the Four Elders and other World Government forces at Elbaf, while Houka’s fighters greatly outnumbered them.
