A group of people suddenly put on an air of righteous resolve, as though they would rather die than submit the next second.
Vader sneered inwardly. When these people had come looking for them back then, their spines had not seemed nearly so stiff.
Now that they were only one final step away, why had they suddenly started this again?
Wasn't it just an act? Weren't they simply thinking that if anything went wrong, they could dump the blame on him and use him as a scapegoat?
Two-faced cowards!
Unlike Vader, who was very straightforward. He was going to do Holy Monk Xuanzang a favor.
No one could stop him!
He had no choice but to do him this favor—otherwise, he would lose his life!
On the surface, Vader did not sneer at all. Instead, he remained calm and nodded steadily. "Absolutely no problem."
He offered no further explanation.
What was there to explain? If they truly did not believe him, it was not too late to rush out now.
Vader could not fall out with everyone either. He still had to make a living on this little patch of turf in the future.
If he offended everyone, life would be difficult for him. It was not as though he could just run away, was it?
"Then... shall we begin?" someone said, their voice somewhat unsteady.
The others exchanged glances, each seeing the complicated emotions in the others' eyes.
They were all God and Demon Walkers, all outstanding among God and Demon Walkers. So why was the gap between them so enormous?
One word from someone else was enough to send them running around with all their might, making tens of thousands of God and Demon Walkers dance to his tune.
And it was all merely to practice a skill.
