Background / History

Gu Yue is regarded by Di Tian as Gu Yuena, the incarnation of the Dragon God's wisdom. After recognizing Ji Fengyu as the reincarnation of the Dragon Matriarch—the Dragon God's wife from their past life—she abandons her prior bet with Na'er concerning Tang Wulin and focuses entirely on pursuing Ji Fengyu. She permits Na'er to continue existing independently rather than forcing her to merge back into her. 7 8

She enrolls at Eastsea Academy and initially accompanies Tang Wulin and Xie Xie in their search for Ji Fengyu. Upon seeing him, she believes that their past-life relationship has endured through reincarnation, though Ji Fengyu does not remember her and repeatedly rebuffs her advances. 6 7 8 12
