Kaido fell silent for a moment at the bar owner's words, then grinned.

"I, Kaido, would never do something so tasteless. Pirates have their own code too. Since I drank your wine, of course I won't smash up your bar."

After a pause, he added, "Uh, consider it that I owe you two Devil Fruits. Another glass!"

You were never planning to pay it back, were you?

Dimon shook his head. A pirate's code? That was something to fool themselves with.

It was like how the Marines shouted about justice all day long and even embroidered the word "Justice" on the backs of their capes.

Whitebeard curled his lip and raised his Naginata to meet him.

Before their weapons collided, their powerful Haki clashed first.

Suddenly, Kaido's Kanabo flew from his grasp. Seizing the opportunity, Whitebeard thrust out his left hand and grabbed Kaido by the face.

Just then, several figures rapidly appeared at the edge of the crater, all of them looking toward Kaido at its center.

Like a dead dog, he had been effortlessly defeated by Whitebeard.

Kaido lay there with his eyes rolled back, blood pouring from all seven orifices.

"Hey, hey, hey, Newgate, what are you doing?" Charlotte Linlin said with an irritated expression. "What did you do to my little brother? Are you trying to kill him?"

"Jihahahaha, Kaido lost again, huh? He really never learns." Golden Lion floated in midair, his tone full of mockery.

"So why did they start fighting again?" Stussy asked helplessly, resting her cheek in one hand.

"Hot-blooded men." Gloriosa shook her head.

"Are you hungry? Want me to prepare some food for you? So you can regain your strength and keep fighting?" Streusen teased.

Seeing the group gathered around to watch, Whitebeard withdrew the hand pressing down on Kaido's face and snorted.

"He was the one who insisted on fighting me. You still alive, Kaido?"

"Cough... cough cough..."

Kaido, who had been lying there like a corpse, coughed lightly. At the same time, the blood was flowing back and his injuries were vanishing.

Everyone was startled by the sight.

"What's going on?"

"He recovered... Did this brat eat a Devil Fruit?"

"No wonder he challenged Whitebeard again."
