White Crow asked Charlie Woodward to bring Zhou Ke back before the Eyes-Closed Dictator claimed the Scarlet High Priest. Meanwhile, Si Qi led the Listen Wind Guild through a hidden passage into Jiang City, where an explosion at the exit injured him and drew his demigod blood.
Si Qi escaped Lin Jue’s explosion and the Eerie Investigation Bureau’s ambush as the dying Sea God’s power engulfed Jiang City, but the godslaying ritual stripped him of his powers and he failed to find Qi Si’s body. Lin Jue received Chu Yining’s warning not to kill Qi Si, revealing that the gods’ plan involved humanity itself.
Si Qi tried to escape the Eerie Investigation Bureau, but Li killed him after a series of violent interceptions. Lin Jue recovered two Identity Cards from the wreckage and realized the Ancestral God possessing White Crow had already arrived, while Qi Si’s return remained uncertain.
After Si Qi’s death, Jiang City and its people were restored, while Lin Jue lost his powers and surrendered to the Federation. Congressman Hayes sentenced him to life imprisonment, and Lin Jue was locked in a containment chamber as a dangerous human.
Lin Chen’s deployment to purge eerie beings outside Dragon County ended when the white-haired woman seized his Identity Card, unleashing a worldwide mutation among children. As the Ancestral God’s power spread and civilization’s technology failed, Congressman Hayes proposed gambling on Lin Jue’s help.
Lin Jue traveled to Shangri-La to confront the Ancestral God as the world fell to widespread contamination. He appeared to accept the Ancestral God’s offer to restart the world, but destroyed the [Fallen Savior] card, revealing that he was Fu Jue and ending the contract.
After the Ancestral God died, the Rules declared that all eerie phenomena would perish, and the world’s dead returned to life. A year later, Lin Chen joined an expedition to Shangri-La and found Lin Jue’s frozen body, learning that Lin Jue had sacrificed himself to protect humanity.
Qi Si realized he could affect reality and suspected Zhou Ke’s death had triggered a forgotten plan to return him to the 2035 timeline. In Xiang City, “Yuan” revealed that he had made a deal with a god and decided to fulfill their agreement in Jiang City.
Qi Si returned to Jiang City and uncovered the god’s memories of the plan that had shaped his life. Using the [Fool Deceiver] Identity Card, he deceived The Rules and began traveling back through the god’s past, arriving at the 2029 correction camp where the god first met him.
On January 1, 2038, Lin Chen witnessed the Tower of Babylon emerge from Shangri-La Snow Mountain, revealing that the Eerie Game had not ended. A returning god who resembled Qi Si killed Lin Chen and climbed the tower alone, ultimately declaring that he would rather become The Rules than the new Ancestral God.
The returned Evil God reclaimed his scattered powers and brought the Eerie Game into reality, unleashing a world-ending disaster. After reuniting with Li at Qi Si’s grave, he rejected the role of Ancestral God and destroyed the orb, then asked Li to do one more thing for him.
Qi Si returned and unleashed a worldwide catastrophe, killing people and gods before destroying the world to ensure The Rules could not return. As the last god faced annihilation, Qi Si and Si Qi debated whether to become The Rules and left the decision to a coin toss.
The author reflected on the difficult creation and completion of Infinite Eerie Game, describing its place in his youth and explaining the regrets and choices behind its ending. He planned to rest, prepare a new novel, and share future updates with readers in the group.
