Qi Si and the other Players entered Shangri-La, where its rituals and a haunted snow mountain forced them to confront their sins, shifting identities, and competing plans. As sacrifices filled the pit and Qi Si deployed the Beast Arena with rewritten rules, the story left the Players facing a deadly new game.

• Zhang Yiyu killed Shao Qingmin at Si Qi’s urging, accepted his Assistant Identity Card, and watched Jiang City fall as rose-controlled ghosts overwhelmed investigators.
• Fu Jue revealed himself as the Puppeteer to Brooke Hayes, while the public learned of ghosts and monsters and Nine Provinces prepared for the Final Instance.
• Qi Si and Lin Chen arrived in Shangri-La with other Players, where they uncovered the town’s rituals, missing travelers, and rules linking sin, death, and age regression.
• The Players investigated the inn and town as pilgrims and ghosts attacked, while Zhou Ke manipulated the group and Lin Jue made himself the target of a quest to kill a sinner.
• Qi Si and the others climbed the snow mountain, where ghosts of the dead confronted him and the travelers became trapped in a seemingly endless mirror world.
• Fu Jue and Qi Si planned to fill the sacrificial pit to draw out the Ancestral God, while Lin Chen challenged Qi Si’s intended killings and Lin Jue offered himself as a sacrifice.
• Fu Jue told Lin Jue that he had sacrificed 985,629 people and urged him to keep Zhou Ke alive, while Qi Si rescued Jin Yusheng from an altar before the ritual’s blinding light made him disappear.
• Qi Si deployed the Beast Arena and rewrote its quest and rules as Lu Renjia and the surviving passengers were forced into a game requiring them to kill everyone but themselves.

Si Qi and Lin Jue maneuvered against each other as the Ancestral God’s contest threatened to reset the world and consume its people. Si Qi set out for Jiang City to find Qi Si’s body, while Lin Jue revealed himself as the Puppeteer and launched the Godslaying Sword’s attack on the Sea God.

• Qi Si rejected the offer to become the Ancestral God, then faced the Rules’ demand that he sacrifice everything he possessed and desired.
• Lin Chen used the Undead Shepherd card to draw the monsters away from the wounded Qi Si, and Qi Si later exchanged places with Zhou Ke and escaped the past timeline as Si Qi.
• Lin Jue stabbed himself to complete the Players’ final quest, while Fu Jue chose to offer his followers on the Scales of the World and White Crow sealed the Ancestral God within herself using the God Mask.
• Si Qi and the surviving Players left the snow mountain, where Si Qi made Tsering Dondrup and Listen Wind Guild members sign Soul Contracts and believe in him.
• Si Qi took his captives as leverage, negotiated with Lin Jue, and arranged a journey to Jiang City to find or destroy Qi Si’s possible body.
• Lin Jue and Si Qi threatened each other as eerie disasters spread, while Qi Si woke in a distorted world, cleared an Instance, and learned that an entity had created him from malice for a struggle over the world’s fate.
• Lin Jue revealed that he was the Puppeteer and used the threat of his death unleashing thousands of incidents to pressure the Players, while Si Qi prepared supplies for his own trap-bound journey.
• Lin Jue drove the bronze sword into the ground, shattered the barrier, and began the Godslaying Sword’s first attack on the Sea God.
