New Human Manufacturing Plan

Lu Zhiyu sat before his computer, organizing his thoughts. Having previously used serum to simply modify the fur and eye colors of his pets, he had already conceived a new idea for the human template of Maria World.

Since he could not replace large segments of genes, making minor modifications to the source template should be fine; however, such small adjustments alone could not fully satisfy his vision.

"What if, instead of just minor tweaks, I added various abilities to the inherited genetic information?"

"For instance, adding abilities like Eagle Eye, adrenaline bursts, dynamic vision, Sage Stance, fleet-footedness, or immense strength to the ancestral templates within the genetic inheritance sequence. Depending on the conditions of inheritance, individuals could freely awaken different abilities, much like superpowered beings. From a genetic perspective, these abilities would simply be things their ancestors had mastered and were now being triggered!"

Lu Zhiyu stood up abruptly, feeling exceptionally excited, as if a brand-new path of thought had opened up in his mind.

"It wouldn't just be special abilities and physical genetic modifications; there would also be the inheritance of skills and wisdom. An ancestor would pass down their own skills, deeply imprinting this information into the genes. If I were to embed sword skills, craftsmanship, marksmanship, and other special techniques into the genes, their descendants would inherit these abilities. I could treat these skills like plugins and insert them into the genetic code."

Lu Zhiyu stood in the center of the room and closed his eyes. "Such physical modification would surely be unbearable for ordinary people or those with weak constitutions. I must set an awakening condition, a checkpoint within the genes. Only when the body is trained to the human limit will the brain grant access to these permissions, activating the physical transformation or memory inheritance. Returning to the study upstairs, Lu Zhiyu immediately activated the Dimensional Gate and reappeared inside the Space Castle. Although only a few days had passed in the outside world, over a hundred years had gone by here. As a dimensional world embedded upon Maria World, the Space Castle's time was synchronized with that of Maria World.

At this moment, all the Ant-Men he had originally created within the Space Castle had died. These Ant-Men did not have long lifespans; once they had completed their tasks of overseeing the growth of the first generation of the Beastmen Race and returning to Maria World, their mission had ended.

The current Ant-Men were all created by Lu Zhiyu later on. Their numbers were in the single digits, and they were mainly responsible for looking after and cleaning the environment inside the Space Castle. Lu Zhiyu would occasionally come in to check on the changes within Maria World and keep observation records. Now, he returned to his room and retrieved the Universe Scroll.

Observing the entire interior of Maria World through the Universe Scroll, Lu Zhiyu could see that many Beastmen Race tribes had emerged on the Alan Continent. After over a hundred years of reproduction, these tribes had gradually formed groups and begun to spread along the rivers across the entire continent.

Furthermore, Lu Zhiyu discovered that the Beastmen Race had begun to develop their own language and possessed the rudiments of city-states. He believed that before long, the first city belonging to the Beastmen Race would be established on this Alan Continent. The Orc civilization had begun to sprout.

These were the city-states established by the earliest Rat-man Race. They possessed their own culture and language, and had begun trade and exchange; it was they who nurtured the flower of civilization in Maria World. As for the other tribes and races, their numbers were currently too small. A tribe of a thousand was already considered very large. Currently, only the Rat-man Race had surpassed ten thousand, forming a crushing advantage. However, the combat power of the Rat-man Race was very poor, and the world was vast, so even if there were conflicts, they were only small-scale and insufficient to trigger large-scale battlefields.

"This won't do. I must speed things up, otherwise, if humans appear too late, they will be crushed by the Beastmen Race!"

Feeling a sense of urgency, Lu Zhiyu immediately headed to the fourth-floor laboratory, preparing to begin his next experimental plan: "The New Human Creation Project!"

Lu Zhiyu watched as the few monkeys in the large cage bared their teeth at him. The cage was spacious, fully equipped with food and water, and featured climbing frames and nests that Lu Zhiyu had built for them. Each monkey had a number written on its body, making them very easy to identify. These dozen or so fellows were the ancestors of the new humans. As for whether the future humans of Maria World would acknowledge them, that was none of Lu Zhiyu's concern.

"Oh monkeys, you should feel proud. You will be the ancestors of the humans of a whole world. This is a blessing that would take many lifetimes to earn. Don't worry, I will release you before long; I won't harm your lives!"

Lu Zhiyu's research and modification of monkey genes had proceeded very smoothly. He had loaded the human template onto the genes, then loaded various talent plugins for physical modification, and subsequently extracted many talent traits from other species, loading them on in massive quantities without a second thought. For example, by incorporating partial characteristics of animals and insects, it took Lu Zhiyu over a month to design forty-eight types of talent plugin templates, after which he created the No. 1 New Human embryo.

It was currently gestating inside the womb of monkey No. 0582, and the embryo's development was currently very good. In just another eight or nine months, Lu Zhiyu would be able to see the first human of Maria World!

However, after the successful creation of the No. 1 New Human embryo, Lu Zhiyu began a modification plan for his own body. The success of the New Human project gave Lu Zhiyu renewed confidence in his own physical modification plan. Without modifying the genetic template or making drastic changes, but merely loading partial talent plugins onto genetic segments, there should be absolutely no problem.

Lu Zhiyu called this plan the Evolution Serum Creation Project. Its research direction overlapped in many aspects with the New Human Creation Project, so Lu Zhiyu decided to work on both simultaneously.

After observing the development of the New Human embryo, Lu Zhiyu immediately left the area. A few Ant-Men remained behind to look after the monkeys. It had to be said that these Ant-Men assistants had helped Lu Zhiyu a great deal; otherwise, the plan could not have been implemented so smoothly.
